I don't think the staff could have gone further out of their way to make us feel welcome. We arrived without a car and given the hotel's location, we were a bit stuck. The staff went out of the way to source us bikes and even arranged for one of their friends to drive us to and from town one night. We really fancied pizza one day so the owner picked us up some on his way through town to save us travelling anywhere. I honestly can not recommend the hotel enough. The breakfast was also phenomenal and the pools were beautiful.

The owners are happy to provide tourist info for visiting nearby Lecce, Santa Maria di Leuca, Gallipoli, and Otranto. The property is comprised of several buildings and features tall trees and olive groves. One of the swimming pools with salt water is for adults only and includes a waterfall, stream and beach feature. This area also includes the paid wellness centre. At Masseria Tenuta Specolizzi you can enjoy a large buffet breakfast available until 11:00 and includes homemade specialities and local products. During summer it is served on the patio with overlooking the swimming pool.
