It is a beach area, but we used it to travel around in Ragusa, Modica and Scicli. It is possible to have day trip to Agrigento, Valley of Temples, as we did. We recommend "Shoreline" restaurant in Pozzallo. You will find also a good ice cream place in the same city as well as the grocery stores (Coop and Eurospin). All restaurants along the beach are OK, but don't fall for recommended fish restaurants there. Frozen products will be used and you will leave at least 18 euros for fried squid from the freezer. Shoreline had excellent quality of fresh fish products, wines, pasta and desserts. They also do great pizzas.

Quiet relaxing location we stayed mid October for one week...
Quiet relaxing location we stayed mid October for one week could have stayed longer so enjoyable. Out of season so quiet all around the area you need a car to travel around or get to next villages/towns/supermarkets. Security at the Villa excellent and plenty space for secure parking without the car being in full view . Excellent facilities including private pool, plenty of outdoor seating including a secluded hammock area. Use of washing machine useful as we had already been elsewhere prior to our visit. Couldn't recommend this accommodation or the owners more definitely 10/10 :)

Very calm and quiet Sicilian village.
Very calm and quiet Sicilian village. Not many tourists in July. Very nice wide sandy beach. The sea is not deep that is good for families with children. A car is definitely needed for getting to supermarkets and restaurants.

High-quality place with everything needed for a spring holiday! Perfectly clean. Rosario was an excellent host and he also suggested places to visit around. And they were worthwhile! We would be very happy to see you in Rotterdam!

Bit of a sleepy town in April. Great for relaxing.
Bit of a sleepy town in April. Great for relaxing. No one on the sandy beach. Close to some great baroque towns if you don’t mind driving. Found a good grocery store in Ispica. We had a fantastic rental house and liked cooking at home. Great visit to Noto and several nature parks.
