The hosts were amazing ! They treated us like a family. The villa is located in an excellent location closer to all the nice restaurants and city Center. The parking is inside the villa and has abundance space. The breakfast was home made. I especially loved the homemade Orange and lemon Jam. We had a good chat in the evening and was fun. Overall an excellent choice if you visit Piazza armerina.

The property is a beautiful modern home on a large, well-landscaped piece of land just up a hill from one of the main streets in town and about a 15 minute walk from the historic center. There is a lovely pool with several sitting areas that guests can use. Silvana and her husband are warm hosts and one feels almost like a friend rather than a paying guest. The breakfast was excellent and Silvana put thought into introducing us to various Sicilian dishes. Having a secure parking spot is great, particularly given parking congestion and the need to protect a rental car from damage.

Villa la Mattina was a lovely b&b offering a pleasant room with comfortable beds with a little balcony with a view of the pool (not in use when we were there- too cold!) and the town. Fantastic breakfast and my son enjoyed meeting the owners dogs. Secure parking was great and it was an easy walk into town and a short drive to the Roman villa.

The property has 3 bedrooms: 1 double and 2 deluxe double bed aggiuntivo.Tutte rooms are elegantly furnished with private bathroom with shower, toilet, bedding and hygiene products. All rooms are soundproofed, heated and equipped with every comfort: thermal windows, parquet, latex mattresses, cotton, floor heating, TV, Wi-Fi, views of the garden and pool.The room with a balcony offers the opportunity to have breakfast in private.In the summer months breakfast is served on the patio or by the pool. All meals provided are homemade by the owner. It is common practice to welcome guests with a welcome drink .The common area features a reading corner with comfortable chairs and books and magazines and an electric kettle that can be used by guests and times.What makes "Villa La Mattina " really special is the presence of a swimming pool of 14 mt with a large hydro - massage area , 3 different levels of depth suitable for everyone and the wide green spaces for a relaxing stay . The nearness to the town center (about 5 min . walk ) makes it easy to reach anywhere in the country while remaining secluded and surrounded by greenery. You also have the ability to bring your four-legged friends .

Piazza Armerina is not just " Villa Romana del Casale " !!!!! Although representing the pride for the country , the Villa Romana del Casale with its 3,500 square meters of mosaic is not the only attraction of Piazza Armerina . The museums , the many churches and the many ancient buildings deserve as much consideration. The surrounding woods and nature reserves create a perfect setting for your holiday if you love nature . The central position of Piazza Armerina and its nearness to very important sites such as Morgantina , Aidone , Enna and Caltagirone but also Catania, Taormina. Agrigento, Ragusa, Modica and towering Etna make it an ideal starting point for a tour of eastern Sicily.
