This is a first rate hotel to stay in particularly if you are interested in WW2. We had stayed in a different hotel on an earlier visit, and we think Edra Palace was better. Staff being helpful was a great bonus. Ambience and sitting outside was great. We found several excellent local restaurants which added to the pleasure of our visit.

The town of Cassino has lovely streets to walk and explore many restaurants. Naturally a visit to the Abbey is a must and worth it. There is a shuttle departing from the station for 1€. There are other military museums which my husband loved. Believe me, the walk is a steep uphill all the way up! Where we stayed, we were afforded stunning views of the town below and misty mountains. The church bells play a minute long tune at 7am. Worth rushing out to capture or listen to. The bus and trains run like clockwork. Don’t miss this town.

First visit MonteCassino and also the war graves. Cassino is central place, with a car to explore surrounding areas. There is a good supermarket with excellent deli counter at the opposite end from the property, a walking distance away.

The battle of Monte Cassino was a pivotal point of the war in Europe. Many brave men lost their lives there for the freedoms we enjoy today. It was an honour to see where they fought and died and the commonwealth war cemetery is one of the most moving places I have ever been

I cancelled my reservation, I received a cancellation number and a message from the owner. However, for my surprise, I received a message today saying that I did no book and charging me 67 Euros. I'm very upset and it put a big problem for my bank.

This bed and breakfast is very well-appointed to visit Monte Cassino abbey, a UNESCO world heritage site. It is very clean and run by a welcoming family. Right opposite this B&B, a short walk away, is a very good restaurant Ristorante Titino.
Pino, a third generation resident of Cassino, was extremely helpful with instructions on hiking up Monte Cassino and his wealth of knowledge on the battle that took place there was very interesting and informative. He speaks wonderful English as well. Our room, #21, was very clean and comfortable and the view from our room of the Abbey was spectacular. Wonderful breakfast each morning. All of the staff were super friendly. Pino was wonderful and gracious. Staying here felt more like staying with friends, than a hotel. Highly recommended.
Beautiful view of Monte Cassino and the Rocca. Also liked the WW2 focus of the hotel as that was what we came to see in Cassino (would also recommend visiting the Roman amphitheatre and archaeological museum). Pino the owner is very knowledgeable about WW2 history - there is an excellent display of exhibits and artifacts in the hotels public areas) - and helpful. Good breakfast also.
Set up on the hill below Monte Cassino and overlooking the town, this is a wonderful and spacious apartment, where you can relax after a days sightseeing and simply enjoy the amazing view. Really appreciate being picked up at the station too for a small cost. Furnishings are a little bit tired but everything is very clean and quiet.
Absolutely delightful room. Brand new, comfy bed, free snacks. They also let me park my motorcycle at the entrance for free. Absolutely recommended. BTW, it's not where Google maps says it is. It's a few meters behind. There's a small sign at the entrance that's quite easy to miss
Great location in the centre of Cassino. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. A simple but sufficient breakfast. We needed an iron and the hotel was able to provide one. Parking was just around the corner in a small private car park.
The property was priced very well and in a good location to catch the bus to the summit of Monte Cassino. The rooms were comfy and clean, and the breakfast was also excellent. I’d highly recommend staying here if you visit Cassino.
Stayed just one night in Cassino for a stop.
Very friendly host; room was large (we got the largest one) and really nice. Can only recommend this B&B!
Parking possible in front of the building (free during night, paid 8am-8pm).
This is a large hotel made to host conventions and receive groups coming for the particular history of Cassino during WWII. All is made to make your stay the best as possible.
