(MY OPINION) Ocho Rios is one of the most beautiful towns in Jamaica. My absolute favorite river in Ocho Rios is Blue Hole.
Nightlife: 8Rivas & Taboo (there may be others, but never been)
Restaurants: There are a lot of great restaurants; some may not be in Ocho Town, but they are worth the drive (Miss T, Plantation, Sharkies, Roxborough, 8Rivas, etc..)
One of the reasons I love Ocho Rios is how easy it is to move about the town freely and safely.

We stayed for four nights.
We stayed for four nights. It is good for us as we went to the market , stores which was walking distance. Friendly people and we felt safe walking in the town. We eat at mongoose restaurant. Really good food and atmosphere. We also eat at island grill and the food is good. Go to the market for coconut water and fresh fruits.

Very interesting - but lots of litter.
The saddest was the stray injured and neglected dogs and cats.
As a single traveler one does not wander off on their own in Jamaica.
The Jamaican people are lovely!!
Great food!!

The location was superb, clean, safe and easily accessible.
The location was superb, clean, safe and easily accessible. Waking up to the welcoming site of the ocean could not have been more refreshing, exhilarating, and soothing.
The food was delectable and delicious, freshly prepared and very appetizing.
The friendly, experienced staff made one felt like you were among family. They exhibited and extended all the common courtesies one could have ever expected, this is no acting, or kidding, these are genuinely very hospitable individuals by nature.
This is a large, spacious and modern property built in a gated community. It has all the equipment needed to self cater. The communal pool is great with beds to lounge on and a lovely view down to ocho rios. Security on the gates at all times so very safe. It is only a 10 minute drive to the beach/bars and restaurants in ocho rios. You do need a car or a driver as there is no way you could walk anywhere, the complex is at the top of a very very steep hill and there are few footpaths on the main road.
The secluded hotel on the Beach. This overlooked the sea and a fantastic beach bar a 30 second walk away. Waves crashing sound all
Night was blissful even heard with the doors shut. The breakfast was reasonable and the lunch and dinner we ordered were also very good especially the lobster. Free use of paddle boards and the reception had sun creams, insect repellent and mask and snorkels you can use. The staff were very friendly and it was so beautiful.
I liked the location because I rented a car and as a returning citizen it’s between Ocho Rios and my hometown. I visit Jamaica quite regularly (on average 3x/year) and for the past 10 years I’ve stayed at properties in the Emerald Estate community; however, this was my first time at this particular property and it will be my last.
This property was perfect and I would recommend to anyone that’s staying in Ocho Rios. Moesha the host is amazing and very friendly. Rooms are clean, showers were hot and the breakfast in the morning was great! You get a private pool and great views from the hillside. Property is very safe and secure and not too far from the town.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right on the beach which makes accessing the ocean super easy. There were enough food choices to keep me interested in trying new places and dishes. The shuttle to the airport in Kingston was convenient and the driver was super friendly.
It was clean and comfortable provided a relaxation like your at home. Staff was really welcoming and gave all information needed while on your stay. There was entertainment by the pool side which worked really well because you couldn’t leave the property because of the no movement in Jamaica.
This villa was nice. The swimming pool did a good job in making my stay wonderful. Simone answered all my questions whenever I reached out to her. The facilities generally made it an enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to be back to Ocho Rios in this villa.
My room had a lovely sea view, nice large balcony and was very clean and welcoming. The hotel was ideal for my requirements - quiet, lovely garden grounds, pleasant staff, Jamaican breakfast and easy walking distance to to Ocho Rios town centre.
all was very good/
if I come to Jamaica. exactly in this hotel. and precisely in room a-31. it's just magical.
and the pool is clean. and the sea is nearby.
The bar is of course weak and the music is not very good.
but overall great
I liked that the villa accommodated 6 adults perfectly. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and not have to be on top of each other. It was also close to Beaches Ocho Rios, where we were visiting friends and family.
I did not eat breakfast. I left early. I ate supper night before and the sweet sour chicken was superb. A little gem stuck away in a hole in the wall on the beach in Ocho Rios.
This place is superb in every way. The location, the staff, the level of service, the rooms are all top of the line. Jamaica Inn is an institution here, and deservedly so.
The host provided a number to a driver, which provided a safe trip …my kids enjoy the stay … beautiful… I will stay again when I travel back to Jamaica..
Villa Royale is a beautiful place and a very restful way to spend our last couple of days in Jamaica after a hectic trip. The AC was especially welcome!
