Our Desert Campsites is set beneath Jebel Araqqa , Where a great sunset views to the west across a wide sandy valley. In addition to our private tents with both single and double beds and all sleeping equipment, the camps feature kitchens and state-of-the-art bathroom facilities, including sinks, western-style toilets and a shower. Our traditional, long, black Bedouin tents, woven from goat hair, comfortably seat even large groups on its comfortable carpets, cushions and pillows. In our first camp, the large tent faces a rock outcropping under which you may choose to sleep when the weather is nice. Many of our jeep, camel and hiking tours include nights in this camp, during which we also cook delicious Bedouin meals.

My name is Salman. I was born here in Wadi Rum. The desert is my favorite place in the world. Even though I have been here all my life, I am still amazed every time I go into the desert. I started going with tourists from as far back as I can remember. My favorite place in all of Wadi Rum is near our camp, because when I was young I lived with our grandfather there. I like taking people on our longer tours because it gives a chance to see all the colors of the desert.
