“I like no! Love Joy the owner slash concierge. Joy knows Jordan like the back of her hand and bends over backwards to help you get the best experience in Jordan. The meals she offers are delicious local Jordanian dishes and are a real pleasure to eat after walking or traveling all day. The B&B’s location in Umm Sayhoun is outside of the teeming crowded packed touristy part of town but is just as close if not closer to Petra if you decide to go on foot.The neighbourhood is really interesting,authentic and down to earth with its wandering donkeys and and kids running around. “Where do I start ? Although this was a short stay, it gave me a reason to go back soon ! The staff was outstanding ! The place was immaculate and the food was soooo delicious ! I was even able to book a tour with Hammoud one of the owner You get to ride a Jeep about 30 min to arrive at the back entrance to Petra arriving directly at the Monastery. This is a local path and allows you to avoid the 800+ steps to reach the site. The best part was that we were able to use more local path to arrive all the key tourists spots without all the tourists crowds on the main path!
