Company info

Mohammed Domayan, from the Bedouin tribe of al Zelabie, is the owner and founder of this Oasis. He knows the desert like the back of his hand and is one of the best guides in Wadi Rum. He is also an undisputed expert on hieroglyphs, which he has been documenting for years. In its collections it has the most interesting rock drawings that can be found in this desert. They come from prehistoric, Nabatean, Roman and Jewish times. Mohammed is also an amateur astronomer, thanks to which he can talk about everything that can be seen in this unique sky on a clear night. Mohammed is helped in running the camp by his brothers Ali and Salim who are one of the best guides on the desert. In our team are also our two friends from Poland – Lukasz Tulej and Pawel Burda. Ali knows this desert as his own backyard. He is experienced guide on Wadi Rum. He is responsible for tours and entertainment. Lukasz is survival expert and adventurer. You might see him in Polish TV in programs like "Survival Family", "Naturally Poland" etc. Lukas is responsible for safety and technical issues. Pawel is adventurer and one-man band. He is responsible for marketing and organization. Our team can’t wait to meet you in our camp and show you the beauty of Wadi Rum and all of Jordan (we also run trips from here to Aqaba, Madaba, Jerash, Dana Reserve, Mount Nebo and the capital – Amman).

Property info

Welcome to Wadi Rum Camp and Jeep Tour. Our camp is located inside the Wadi Rum Protected Area, a short distance from Petra, Khazali canyon, and of course the sand dunes. From your tent you can see the views where the 1962 film "Lawrence of Arabia" was shot, and you will find a beautiful sunrise and sunset every day. We often take guests on jeep tours, camel rides, hiking, and climbing. The rates for these activities change depending on the length of your stay, and so so feel free to contact us at md_wadirum(at)yahoo.com to inquire about how you would like to spend your time here. We offer free transport from the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre to our camp. Some tents have private toilets / showers, and there is also a separate building with washroom and shower facilites at our camp. We have hosted guests at our desert oasis from all over the world, and we are looking forward to meeting you. _______________________________________________________________
