Our room was wonderful and so spacious. We stayed in the suite. Having a small kitchen and a washer and dryer were such a welcome addition. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent and such a wonderful neighborhood. Highly recommend this hotel.

Open from February 2015, Aoi Hotel Kyoto is located a 5-minute walk from Kawaramachi Station and a 13-minute walk from Yasaka Shrine. It offers simply furnished rooms and free WiFi access.
Guests can explore Pontocho or the shopping and entertainment district Gion, located a 10-minute walk from the property. JR Kyoto Station, Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Heian Shrine can all be reached within a 15-minute drive from Aoi Hotel Kyoto. Osaka Itami Airport is a 1-hour drive away.
