United States of AmericaThis is the perfect place to stay when in Kyoto. Kyoto Station is just a few minutes away with access to buses and taxis as well as the train. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, answering many questions. On this trip, we initially stayed one night before heading to our next destination. On our return we had planned to stay at another hotel because we couldn't get a room at Dormy Inn when we first planned our trip. We took a chance and asked for help at the front desk, and found there was availability for the three nights we wanted. The breakfast is awesome, as is the yonaki soba (just the right size for a late night snack). The onsen area is clean and relaxling. We always enjoy Dormy Inn.

United States of AmericaI had to the Queen size room and it was large and comfortable compared to similar Tokyo hotels. No tub, but I used the Japanese hot bath area every night. Nice to have complimentary snacks as well. A few minutes walk to Kyoto station. I didn't try the breakfast onsite, but free tea/coffee during the afternoons, and ramen at night.
