everything is beautiful. but for ine night stay it id quite overpriced. However, you are payouts for the experience more than the stay.

Gorgeous temple in the heart of Koyasan with beautiful garden and pond. We had a great stay there, the morning ceremony was a special and unforgettable experience.

Everything was great. Staff was kind and surprised us with good english. Onsen was so relaxing. The location and garden was beautiful. Morning seremony is something you don't want to miss.

Great experience and very peaceful up in the mountains - makes a nice change from the city. Beautiful property and very easy location - straight off the bus and in the front gate. Onsen were really nice and deserted.

i cannot believe some people have written bad comments on this structure. Place is superb, staff super kind, though bathrooms are shared they are very clean. Room is a typical Japanese one. the onsen experience was great. i could enjoy both the carbonated hot spring and the outdoor bath by the way I was very lucky and I was alone. I also had the opportunity to follow an early morning cerimony with Buddist Monks. Dinner (which has to be booked 48hrs in advance) is very rich and tasty. Breakfast is a typical Japanese one with a lot of good things to try. An experience I strongly recommend. ps it may seem a bit difficult to reach but actually everything is very well organized and from Osaka it does not take a lot.

Access to Onsen Cleanliness Friendly staff with good English Location was excellent Quiet and comfortable

My room was beautiful, with its own terrace overlooking a garden.

the wonderful place, its garden, its architecture. the staff and cooking were really nice and great

Unforgettable experience living in the temple! Great location and nice onsens.

The food was exceptional, amazing presentation. The staff were very attentive and gracious. The mineral bath was great.
