We did not know that the hostess stays on the 2nd floor at night and leaves the home in the morning due to the licensing requirements for that neighborhood. However, we had unlimited use of the entire 1st floor including 2 bedrooms and one extra room for our luggage, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. She wrote hand a written map around her neighborhood showing where the restaurants are etc. She was so kind and helpful when my daughter got a fever, and she even went to buy medicine and cooling pads for her. There was a room for our big suitcases to keep open and also place to hang our laundry to dry. I enjoyed talking to her a lot.
