Location is nothing to say, there are no hotels better than here. When I line up to checkin clouded as checkout gusts. Staff ask me to keep my baggage until checkin for enjoy sightseeing. Room is large and clean station view is interesting, you stay more time in the hotel.

JapanLocation excellent right above Kyoto station, close to many of the major attractions and sights. Lots of focus on COVID-19, room was clean and sanitized, elevators are smart and just require key to go to the correct floor.
JapanWe had a standard room. It is spacious by Japanese standards. There was a partial view of Kyoto Tower. Nice towels, good amenities, including make-up remover lotion. Slippers are better than the usual hotel slippers. The two chairs in the room were firm and comfortable. Breakfast was not buffet, due to the pandemic. If you want toast with your eggs, you have to ask specifically. The croissant and pain au chocolate are good. Staff everywhere in the hotel are extremely polite and professional and helpful. You can do the checkout after breakfast and then you just drop the keys into a box when you leave the hotel, so you avoid the possibility of having to wait in line with other people at checkout time.
