I liked that it was close proximity to ski fields, 6 min walk to main Happo one gondola, restaurants, food outlets, ski hire,3 min walk to Lawsons & bus terminal & 15 min walk to major supermarket. It wasn't a 5 star hotel& that reflected in the price, which is great . It was clean, good size rooms/bathroom & quiet.

Property was great and good location, staff so friendly and willing to help however they could. We did have western room which was great, new bathroom, very clean and spacious. Loved that u had to take shoes off at front door and keep out of room so wasn’t taking dirt etc through hotel! Would stay here again Our room had a lovely view to the ski slopes and up the small street

Very friendly and helpful staff. The Onsen is great. Great facilities and value for monies. Great location and walking distance from the Bus terminal. A bit further to walk to the closest lift but there are free shuttle buses available , just that it is not very frequent. Close to many good eating restaurant for dinner and convenient stores, Great wifi!

Spacious and clean room for 3 of us (2 adults +1 child) on futons (tatame)... I was quite happy with the room provided. The Duty Manager (or Owner) was extremely helpful with restaurant bookings and booking taxi's - she spoke moderate English which helped a lot. The Onsen was small but comfortable. The hotel had plenty of 'drinks' vending machines.

The accommodation is close to the skii shutter bus and Hakuba Bus Terminal. But I prefer stay in Goyu which has better accommodation rating, skii tracks Goyu plus 47 have more, lift tickets are slightly cheaper than Happo. The previous trips, I stayed in the Goyu lodges, every proprietor will provide very detailed inductions, from equipment hire, ticketing, shutter bus. What's offer in dining area or restaurant. But I didn't receive much information this time.

Kyo was the landlady of the front desk, she was super kind with us, treated us very very gentle. I recommend the hotel 100% and absolutely she is a “must” in the hotel, she makes the environment great and make customers feel like at home. It is a hotel basically for skiers, you could feel very comfortable there after ski and thad is great.
