The staff was amazing from the start. We only stayed a night but everything was great! The room was really clean and it had a nice view of the ocean! We had dinner at the hotel (Kingdom) and the food was great! The staff that showed us to our room, made the reservation for us and told the staff at the restaurant it was my boyfriends birthday so they did something extra for us. (: overall, we had a great experience and would love to go back!
JapanShiroux means “white” in Okinawan Japanese. The whole resort is based on such theme and consistent color tone. Beforehand I was a bit worried it might be too Hawaiian however my concerns were resolved immediately upon my arrival to the Sunset Wing lobby — spectacular bay facing open design gives a personable and relaxing feeling right away. Tasteful furnishing and decor also shows the quality of the place. This is a resort where you can spend time doing nothing yet still enjoy the facility and space a lot. We tried almost every dining options, fantastic service quality, great smile and pleasant chat. Impeccable housekeeping is also another highlight — many fine hotels provide housekeeping(s) and turn-down service but Halekulani manages it in an e-way, efficient and stylish. There are quite a few metrics to evaluate a truly remarkable hotel stay; to me, Halekulani Okinawa nailed them all.

I love the special beach bag (I forgot take it back) and the pajamas they provide. It’s pretty quiet and private (maybe it’s the low season). Food here is great and staff are pretty nice and helpful. Would love to try the suite and villa next time and stay longer.
