At the meeting point of river and sea, huge Osaka combines forward-thinking development and sure-footed tradition. This is symbolised in its temple-like, 16th century castle, guarded by ramparts and enlivened by vibrant spring cherry blossom. Dominating the surrounding skyline is Osaka Business Park, a reminder of the city’s strong role in the Japanese economy.
However, the most striking skyscraper is the Umeda Sky Building - 2 towers connected by a rooftop terrace offering far-reaching views. The nearby Osaka and Umeda train stations are linked by underground shopping centres, while the shops of Shinsaibashi’s America Village appeal to a younger crowd. The Tsūtenkaku tower overlooks Tennōji Park, home of the Osaka Municipal Museum of Art. Another nearby park houses Shitennō-ji, one of Japan’s oldest Buddhist temples.
The Kyocera Dome Osaka is a shrine of baseball, and more thrills are at waterfront Universal Studios Japan, the country’s 2nd largest theme park. Also by the sea is Kansai International Airport, on its own artificial island.

Osaka es una ciutat totalment diferent a lo que seria una ciutat tipica de Japó com podria ser Hiroshima, Tokyo, o Kyoto. Em recorda molt a Fukuoka. Es una ciutat amb grandisima varietat de menjars, d'activitats i de moviment. Podria ser una ciutat que 'mai dorm'. Realment es una ciutat que m'encanta. La gent es més oberta i realment crec que si no has anat mai a Japó, es de parada obligatòria.

Osaka és una ciutat encantadora. Vem visitar el castell i el Umeda Sky Building per veure el skyline de la ciutat. L'hotel no està situat a la zona turística d'Osaka, però si està ben comunicat amb l'estació de metro a 8-10 min. No ho recomano per una estança llarga perquè la mida de l'habitació es força petita i era complicat obrir les maletes a l'habitació, pero per a un parell de dies està bé i a bon preu amb tot el necessari. El personal molt correcte.

El espai del lavabo de l'habitació era gran i la TV de l'habitació una passada amb tota la informació que facilitava dels serveis del hotel. A més el bany públic del hotel quasi mai no hi havia ningú i era molt confortable. El pijama facilitat era molt còmode. La neteja del hotel era impecable.
