The room, though tiny, was comfortable and gave us a view of the Sky Tower. We were in Ueno, a neighborhood with lots of eateries, izakawas, and other attractions. Ameyoko was a short walk away. Ueno Park is within a bit longer walking distance. The breakfast staff ladies were wonderful, and breakfast offerings were good, though not vast.

Staff was accommodating. Breakfast adequate but surprised there was no yoghurt and minimal fruit. I have traveled around the globe and never experienced a breakfast buffet without yoghurt. It was truly sufficient - however - and missing yoghurt for a week was no problem. Room cleaning was a mystery as when we wanted only towels we got a full cleaning and were unclear on the eco-approach as it didn't work as described (every 3 days). Just a bit confusing.

The staff is quite friendly, the girls in the breakfast made it a great experience, although the room is small it is enough, (everything in Tokyo is very compact)

The hotel doesn't have much in terms of facilities (no sauna, bath, onsen or the like and no restaurant either, it's breakfast only), but the room and the bed were the most comfortable ones out of all the hotels I stayed jn Japan. I don't even know why, but I got some really restful sleep there, which is the most important thing about a hotel. The smaller rooms they have (1 double bed) are absolutely perfect for a single person. For 2 people I can only recommend them if you're traveling very light, and even then it's probably better to take one of their bigger rooms. It's also located in such a way that you can walk to both Akihabara and Asakusa (or easily take the train) and you can get to Shibuya and shinjuku in 30 mins using only 1 train line, which was amazingly.

Spacious, clean rooms with great amenities and kind English-speaking staff. Lovely modern design in the lobby and main areas. Offers coin laundry and complimentary ice machine. The breakfast smelled amazing but we didn’t try it. Located in a main avenue with two metro stations at hand. Front desk even gave us free rental umbrellas for a rainy day! Would stay here several times. Thanks!
