Shukubo KANETSUNE is located within the grounds of Koseiin, a Rinzai Zen temple with a historic garden designated as a Scenic Site by Kyoto City. This exclusive two-story villa hosts only one group per day, offering complete privacy and tranquility.Passing through the gate, the bustle of the outside world fades away, revealing a serene and extraordinary retreat. The shukubo was supervised by world-renowned architect Toyo Ito, laureate of the Pritzker Architecture Prize and other international awards, and designed by Michiko Okano.
