“It was large enough for a group of six which is typically hard to find. The bathroom was small but otherwise it was great. Nice locate close to several train lines which made getting around Tokyo easy.”

“LY Inn is only a 3 minute walk from the Bakurocho JR station on the JR Chuo line (only 2 stops from Tokyo Station), and a 5 minute walk from the Asakusabashi JR station on the JR Sobu line. So it was very conveniently located to the transit system which is ideal when staying in Tokyo. The apartment and beds were very comfortable and spacious (2 bedrooms, living room/kitchen and 1 bathroom) for a family of 5 with plenty of space for our luggage. (We had stayed in a standard hotel room for 5 earlier in our trip in Ikebukuro and we were basically walking over our luggage whenever moving around in that room) This place also had a large refrigerator, microwave and washer. Location in terms of transportation is key in Tokyo, and this is a good location!”

“Overpriced Dump! ”

Omg This is not a place you want to stay at. Just getting into the room is a challenge as the elevator is small and as you get off the elevator to the door of the room (which doesn't lock!!) the space is extremely small and you will get jammed in the doorway and the elevator alarm will go off every time. Pictures attached. The place was dirty. The ¥7000 cleaning fee is a joke. There are pubic hairs all around the floor in every area. The bedding smelled of smoke and was discolored. In front the building there is a smoking area that you have to walk through to get in. Problem is many people from the neighborhood come here to smoke! You have to walk within 50cm of them to get out/in. Pictures attached. We made a five night reservation and after one night we left. Refund was denied by the owner who is not Japanese and obviously does not hold high standards, or any at all. We just wanted out of this dump. The total experience was terrible. The body soap was crap and made us itch. The shampoo was in a DOVE bottle..it turned out to be the same as the body soap, this guy is putting super cheap body soap in the DOVE shampoo bottle!!! Pictures attached! The toilet paper was the cheapest available and felt like sandpaper. ALL the dishes and plates were dirty and were placed in a cabinet by the floor. No class at all of any type at this place. The TV was small and of bad quality, again the owner bought the cheapest stuff he could find. The cheap and small towels were supposed to last us five days! Owner told us to wash them ourselves!! The location is not good unless you like to walk 15 min just to get to anything decent. I could go on but I think you get the drift, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!
There is very little to like about this place. Stay away!!

Best for four people. Five people is ok. Not recommender for more than 6 people or there won’t be space for even laying out suitcases. There can be more hooks and hangers in the room for clothes and used towels. A shoe cabin at the entrance to take advantage of vertical space can also be an option.
In central Tokyo. Easy to go everywhere. Close to metro station and a supermarket.

The toilet space is very small and not suitable for any average sized person. The mattresses on the beds were also very hard and only one very small, flat pillow.

Would have liked a few more restaurants or bars nearby.
Great size apartment, had everything we needed. Location close to metro line so very easy to get around. Quiet and relaxed area. Felt very safe.

Very nice and clean room. Beds are so comfortable. The hotel is very close to subway. Not far from Ueno and around Tokyo station. Staff is really friendly and helpful.

One of the beds was pretty hard. Needed to put another mattress on it
Good space for Tokyo. Great staff came to help when I locked myself out one day. Lovely quiet location but near subway to anywhere.

From the airport to the hotel, going out from the subway, need to climb a long flight of stairs.. no lift or escalator available. Space a little tight but okay for a family of 4.
This place is near Bakurocho station. The size is just nice for a family of 4 with 4 big luggages. Space is not very big but comfortable. The dryer in the toilet works great! Able to dry clothes. Just have to bring more hangers as they only provide 6.

The layout of the rooms was not conducive to a family with grown up children. There was only one restroom and you will need to go through one room to get to the second room. No privacy.

Entrance to lift and the apartment was quite small so it was quite tricky for us with strollers. However it is still manageable and just need getting used to.
The place was clean, comfortable and heating was good when we travelled in winter. It was spacious for us a family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Everyone enjoyed the time there. Location is good too as there were convenience stores and train stations nearby. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice quiet local area. Close to connecting transportation to all over Tokyo. Beaver Bread located 500 meters from the apartment has a very nice selection of bread.

The only way to get to the apartment is small elevator, which was not that comfortable. Also one room was passthrough.

The pictures showed the apartment to be bigger than we thought. Also, the elevator entry into the apartment could be made bigger because it could not fit our families and luggages, took several trips every time we went out and back.
The host was very accomodating and friendly, the apartment was very clean, the location was great cos it had access to a few of the train lines like the Asakusa, the Shinjuku and the JR. Also there are a lot of food stores and restaurants around, really convenient. Love it!
