I was surprised by the quality of the services and low cost. The rooms are pretty big.
They have buffet-style dinner and breakfast which is perfect for vegans/vegetarians, you can chose the stuff that you can eat and stuff was very helpful to explain to me the contents of the food. Hot spring bath is huge.
The location is close to the station, main shopping street, beautiful river and close to the beach.

We went during the winter season in February and it was good weather and an enjoyable stay! We were able to see the cherry blossoms! We saw komuroyama, the volcano omuroyama, did the jogasaki trail, went to kawazu to see the cherry blossoms, the imaihama beach where I definitely recommend to take a bike to go the beach!
I also recommend taking a day-pass at Ito station where you can take as much as you want the subway. However, for the mountains you have to take the buses so use your pasmo / suica card or cash. And it is also important to have a lot of cash on you because a lot of places take only cash.

I made a round trip along Ito coast.
I made a round trip along Ito coast. The west side is a rural area with its natural beauty and rocky beach well preserved. Not many people and houses, which fit my preference well. The east side boasts some world class white sand beaches, gorgeous rocky cliff view and small islands.

We needed more time!
We needed more time! We loved the coastline and beautiful beaches, the hikes and attractions. You need to be careful with transportation if you don't have a car: make sure you know what buses and trains you are taking in advance. If I could do it again, I would stay longer and rent a car.

City is charming, friendly and efficient people at the restaurants and shops. Safe to walk at night, my kids enjoyed the beach, and of course Jonathon’s restaurant.
Ate lunch at fresh fish restaurant, swam in the ocean in September, and enjoyed the outdoor large spa onsen.
My recommendation is K’s Guesthouse.
Available message at the outdoor spa too!

Good atmosphere to enjoy, it was cool when I was there in September. Sea is ok and clean enough for swimming. Jogasaki Coast is very nice. Nothing here is really special compare to other but still a peaceful place for a holiday.
The property was really easy to find. There was a sign right outside the station pointing you in the right direction. The owners are an elderly couple. You have to speak extra loud for them to hear you. I spoke to them in Japanese but, from their communication with other guest I gathered that the husband spoke some English. The shared spaces (bathroom, toilet room, sinks, and common area) are kept clean. E aire to bring your own hand soap and body soap as they only have bars of soap available to use.
Blown away by the size of the room and the astounding views from the room. I can only compare it to one of the high end suites you find for 5x the price of a regular room. Definitely will be staying here again in the future.
Breakfast was one of the best hotel inclusive breakfasts I've had in Japan.
The staff went above and beyond to provide assistance with anything needed and even dropped me off at the train station after my stay.
The beds were super comfortable too!
Super friendly host/owner who can communicate well in English. His morning walking tour is worth getting up for. Had great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Was able to tailor breakfast for vegetarians, too.
The room was clean and while I have a mold allergy didn't have any issues here (many old hotels/homes in Japan aren't good for me). The aircon was a high-end Fujitsu model that you don't see very often in lodging and it did a great job.
The location is very close to the beach. Although a second-floor room, the view was wonderful! We could see all the sea just from our room window. There are hot springs for males, females, open-sky type (needs a reservation for about 2000 yen), and a family one. We especially used the family one.
The rooms are big and beautiful Japanese styled. It was a hotel experience that exceeded my expectations for the cheap price we paid.
This place is such a gem! The atmosphere is surreal, the place very clean and the staff super nice and helpful. We chose the double room with private veranda on the river and we were so happy! We also got to try their private onsen, as well as one of the outdoor onsen they suggest, and were amazed by the experience. The hotel was i a perfect location to reach any place of interest in Ito.
Had a relaxing and wonderful stay there. Fantastic little hotel, walkable from and to the train station. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Bath powder was offered everyday for an enjoyable hot bath. Seaview from a large window, can do star gazing from the window at night when the sky is clear. The owner and staff were very friendly. They offer breakfast for only 500 yen.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Clean and very comfortable hotel room. I want to live in this room! You can open the window and sleep to the sound of ocean waves, pleasant night light, the aroma of lavender... all this will cure you of any stress and fatigue! One of the Best Hotels in Japan! I would give it 5 stars easily!!
Very clean. Close to Ito station (around 6 minutes’ easy walk) and supermarket is just nearby. Relatively new hotel in the area with traditional Japanese vibes yet modern facilities. We stayed in the Japanese/Western style mixed room with in-suite onsen-like bath which was very nice but somehow the water was dripping over night which kept my husband awake.
The onsen was beautiful ! By far my favorite private onsen experience in Japan.
My boyfriend also commented this! The onsen is so spacious, clean, and comes with an amazing view. The room was very spacious and cozy. Great with table, large TV and seating area for playing games with family or friends. I would come again.
It's definitely one the biggest and comfortable hotel rooms that I have stayed so far in Japan. The staff was very cooperative and friendly. Spacious room, and bath. Beds were comfy and good in size. Loved the experience of staying there and will definitely stay there again. (stayed with family including kids)
The traditional Japanese room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the riverside.
The private onsen, while small, was lovely and readily available despite being open to all guests.
The building itself was beautifully atmospheric - a must see for those interested in traditional Japan!
The onsen was amazing! Large rooms, very clean and well equipped kitchen.
It’s obviously marketed towards car-travelling visitors, but if you know about the free local bus it’s also very convenient without a car (timetable attached). You have to take the taxi for large luggage.
The hotel onsen was great especially the outdoor pool. I liked the size of the rooms. The location was just near enough to the beach front to be walkable within 30 minutes. I liked the machines selling alcohol inside the hotel.
I love the view from my room, the pool, the onsen etc.
I like that the hotel loaned us a golf cart to go to bowling, (since it’s a bit far from the main building). That was fun. The buffet breakfast was good too!
Many public and private sea view onsens to choose from. Staff is very friendly. Although their English is limited, staff is patient and try their best to understand me. Many Japanese in the hotel, which I like.
The place was quite large for four people. The interior was remodeled except the kitchen and looked and functioned very well. The location was two min walk from the Ito Station and yet it was not so loud.
Charming old Ryokan with nice hot-spring onsen. Food and service were great. Provided hotel attire was cute. Room was spacious. Traditional in a fun way. The experience was overall rather relaxing.
