Hotel Hotel Mt. Fuji
401-0501 Yamanashi, Yamanakako, Yamanaka 1360-83, Japan – Great location - show map
Great view to the Mt. Fuji when the weather allows.

Staff helped us plan transportation, and were very knowledgeable about 3rd party services. Very helpful

Superb location, with fantastic views over Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. The two separate onsen baths both had spectacular Fuji views. The room was large for a Japanese hotel and the bed comfortable. The Christmas lights display in the garden was an unexpected bonus as we dined. Breakfast was good, with plenty of western options. Generally the hotel seemed to have put in place good COVID measures.

We loved the view from the room and the hot spring; we also enjoyed the Finnish sauna. The hotel is on top of a hill above the lake and thus offers a great view of Mt Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. The staff were very polite, the room was clean and quite spacious with twin beds and a tatami floor leading to a balcony. There are two hot spring baths; the one on the 2nd floor is smaller and has a great view of Mt Fuji, the other is in the basement and has a great Finnish sauna with water dripping on hot stones and thus creating löyly. We also enjoyed the walk along the path leading to a bird sanctuary and a French dinner.

Very decent, classical hotel.Overall, Spa and sauna has been renewaled and its very clean. The views from the open air baths are astonishing; you can gaze the stars at night and enjoy the view of Mtfuji in the morning. Great place to chill out.

1. Near to 山中湖 2. You could see Mt. Fuji out of room window. 3. Onsen! Onsen! Onsen! where you could enjoy with a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji. 4. Hotel offers a lot of options for breakfast.

Stand alone hotel so nothing near by. Recommend to drive but the view of Fuji from here is stunning. Beyond expectations from what I pay. Room is very big. Onsen is great.

Everything was perfect, loved the view the most!!!

The view is majestic from every point. Even from my room I was able to see Fuji. In the onsen (spa) I was really stunned, it just like on the picture! The breakfast was also great. Many Japanese food. Very very friendly and respectful staff.

Sensational views of Lake Yamanakako and Mt Fuji. Our hotel room is a combination of western and Japanese- which was interesting. The locals told us that this was the best hotel here and PM Modi of India stayed at this hotel when he visited. Great buffet breakfast selection. Hotel staff service was excellent. There are complimentary hotel shuttle buses to take you to Yamanakako village and you can call the hotel for pick up. Lovely views of Mt Fuji from the men’s public onsen (but not for the women :( I’m the evening, the garden is decors with twinkling coloured fairy lights in the garden with one illumination shaped as Mt Fuji! Near the hotel bus shuttle drop off point at Yamanakako village, there is a shop where you can rent bicycles for 2hours to ride around the perimeter of the lake (part of the cycling route for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics). This was a memorable experience as you can stop at various look- out points, see the locals fishing and the white swans.
