Brett & Chereyne are amazing host, all staff are super friendly & very accomodating: cresting a lovely community feel & we had some really lovely conversations with other guests in the common areas. The daily breakfast was delicious; the best before a full day at the snow. Dinner was available during our stay & the nights we decided to eat-in was no disappointment: the Irori BBQ was exceptional & a highlight. Beds were very comfy & lovely warm interior: appreciated the phone charging bedside lights!

Myoko forest lodge was a spectacular place to stay. The hosts as well as all of the staff are beyond helpful, the breakfast is extremely generous and delicious and the dinners if you choose to have them, are phenomenal (especially the twice weekly in-house grill-your-own extravaganza). I cannot fault any part of the lodge and staff, we had an amazing time, felt very welcomed and looked after, your room is tidied daily and the lodge itself is spotless. The bar is great, all the staff have great suggestions, we had a car with us but really could have done without as you can be dropped off/picked up to all nearby resorts. We would happily stay here again, absolutely phenomenal location.

Myoko Forest Lodge is a fantastic place to stay for your next ski or snowboarding holiday in Japan. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome by our hosts Cheryene and Brett. The lounge and dining areas are light and airy with a roaring fireplace and lovely furnishings. The accommodation is excellent with an extremely comfortable king sized bed and ensuite And after skiing each day we loved having our own private Onsen experience in the on-site Ofuroya.

Brett has a wealth of experience and knowledge around the ski fields and Myoko in general. Always happy to pick up/drop off at the mountain locations...at virtually any time. Myoko Forest Lodge is a beautiful space to base yourself for all Myoko Kogen offers, whilst enjoying a family feel around communal meals with other travellers. This is a small Japanese-style lodge in a quiet tranquil area five-ten minute drive from the chairlift. The hosts were great and went out of their way to help us organise activities, shuttle to ski resort and meals. I would highly recommend this place.

They went above an beyond in every aspect from transfers, activity ideas and assistance, food and drinks, room comfortability and so much more. Our stay was exceptional value for money. We couldn’t rate our stay anymore and would recommend it to anyone and hope to get back at some stage.

The property is clean and modern, and the owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. We did not have our own form of transport but the owners were happy to shuttle us to the train station and ski lifts as needed. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and there was complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day. The common area was great to socialise with other guests and there is also space to relax on your own. We booked at the last minute but the owners went above and beyond to accomodate us. Great value for money I would highly recommend staying here!
