Great location and value. The river walk is right in front of the entrance. Close to all shops, cafe and restaurants. The hiking trails to the bamboo forrest is 2 minutes away from the hotel entrance.

CanadaThe property is very close to the Bamboo Forest and is very quiet regardless of its central placement. Our room had a really nice view, it was spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a little bit of an “upper class” vibe (in a good way). We booked with breakfast and dinner and they were really worth the money! The dinner is a Kaiseki meal, presented like a little work of art. We didn’t really know how to eat it but the staff was so friendly and guided us. Overally staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience and we wish we could have stayed more here.

ThailandThe Ranzan is a lovely riverside hotel featuring attractive, slightly retro rooms and old-fashioned Japanese hospitality. Our concierge personally escorted us to our room and explained all its features. She also made sure we had the correct sized robes. The baths were a nice addition and while we didn't opt to eat there, the restaurant looked very pleasant.
