This hostel is a 2-floor building with 12 bedrooms and a 30-seat restaurant. It is 1 km from "Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort" and 20 meters from a small natural park for "Alpine Flowers (Mizubashou)". hostel is located in Ochikura area of Hakuba village. You will be able to enjoy winter and summer activities in the Hakuba village. In winter, Hakuba is a busy village welcoming skiers all over the world with 11 ski resorts and over 200 trials. In summer, Hakuba also offers adventures. There are numerous hiking routes (from easy to hard) for you to explore the Japanese alpine mountains, and the nearby lakes (Lake Aoki and Lake Kisaki) are oppcupied by Kayak, sup and swimming clubs. The closest creek named Hime River is good for rafting, and you can choose from all different camp sites to set up a tent and smell the flowers.

The operator Mickey speaks English and Chinese, and is learning Japanese. He is good at cooking, loves travelling, and wishes to offer a small, cozy and fun space for you.

Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort, the nearest ski resort, is 15 minutes by walk from this hotel. With a wide (1.2km) ski trial at the bottom and long distance cable car (4.1km) directly to the top, it is kids&family friendly and very good for starters. The length is 4.9km, and there are 14 trial and 19 ski lifts in total. Free rest areas are available and there are quite a few restaurants just outside the ski resort for you choose. There is a big natural park called Tsugaike Kogen Natural Park right on the top of the ski resort, which is famous for the red leaves in Autumn.
