FranceLocation was great for us as we used public transported and walked everywhere. Hotel is very impressive with attention to detail clearly shown in the beautiful furnishing. Staff are impeccable, always smiling and will deal with all your requests with excellent standards. Whilst the restaurant was closed we had breakfast in our room which was delicious!!! Beautifully presented and so much great tasting items. When leaving in a taxi the front of house manager waved us off until we where out of eye sight such a touching thought.

The staff were really lovely with great nearby restaurant reccomendations. Breakfast options (Japanese and American) were both super tasty and beautifully presented. The location is excellent. Only 5-10 mins walk from Downtown- the main shopping district, Ponto-cho (night life/ restaurant area) and subway line to Kyoto Station. The hotel is opposite a pretty shrine on beautiful, quiet street with lots of nice boutique artisan stores.
