The hotel was well located close to the Dotonbori entertainment area and the Fish/Meat Market. The hotel was close to a subway station (Nippombashi) and a longer but still manageable walk from the main Namba station. The room was in good shape, the bathroom had smart toilet, the AC worked very well and the beds were the most comfortable of our 2 week journey. I will say that the 'people watching' right outside the hotel (stand at the corner of the property to the left as you walk out) was quite entertaining.
United States of AmericaThe staff is very friendly. The room is clean. The location is easy to go to the shopping street. So,i think it's a budget-wise choice.
ThailandThe location is absolutely fantastic for anyone wanting to be based in Osaka or Dotonbori specifically. So much to do in the area and it's a short 10 minute walk to Osaka-Namba station, and an even shorter walk to Nippombashi. The staff at Welina speak very little English but do their best to help you nonetheless. The WiFi provided was also very quick and stable.
AustraliaThe location was exceptional, very close to restaurants and especially dotonbori area and kuromon ichiba market. Access to transportation was excellent, close to nipponbashi subway station.

United States of AmericaVery well-maintained! Ideal location if you like being near where all the food is (Dotonbori) but quiet enough so that you don’t get woken up by the noise of nightlife. It is also very near the Nippombashi station, where the subway and Kintetsu lines are.
