Good location and facilities to explore the area. Good base camp. Lots of visitors coming to use the boats to visit the lake and Islands. It was nice to have this on the doorstep. The accommodation I would describe as ‘glamping’ so if you’re happy with the noise of the animals and visitors to the beach then it works well. Food: good choice and staff very friendly . The new Govt. booking system to visit anywhere is painstakingly slow; let’s hope they sort this ! The plastic rubbish is sad and shocking although we did meet some local groups who clear this.

Naivasha is an absolute amazing town down all the way to the lake side. Boat rides are breathtaking which give you an opportunity to come close to Hippos and fishermen doing their thing. Wonder is these fishermen cast their nets feet away from the Hippos, LAWWDD!! Fish is delicious, straight from the lake LOL
Night life is lively but you'll have to know the best crowds.
I'd go back every weekend if it were possible

We are very familiar with Kenya and think of it as our second home! We hadn’t visited Naivasha for some years and were keen on finding a quiet tented camp close to the waters edge. We slipped up! Clearly, Naivasha has seen a great deal of property development and we caution travellers to carefully seek out a pleasant place to stay - price matters and the long established Lake Naivasha Country Club (formerly a Block Hotels establishment) is still a super place to stay. There are others. Choose carefully!

Hells Gate - with a guided tour stopping at the geo thermal spa. Do not go alone around Hells Gate Park
If you can head up to Lake Nakuru it is an amazing national park with loads of animals and very easy to driver your own car around.
Tip - take snacks and water into all parks as there are no places to stop for food

We made our own food after a shopping from the nearest mall which had that we need for the stay, were on transit to Nairobi and we felt like we need a space to rest ; a home away from home... and this space was spot on for us.
Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, truly has a special place in our heart!
We stayed for our honeymoon trip and the whole staff exactly met our full expectations
The heart warming welcome bed deco, the wild zebras, water bucks and giraffes just walking beside makes it feel like your in a fairy tale!
I highly recommend this wonderland to any one who is looking for a special experience and did I mention the Staff are so heart warming and polite!
A true hospitality standard!
Thank you so much Naivasha Sopa Lodge Team! You made our honeymoon more magical!
The hotel has a wonderful ground in front of the residential area. Well taken care of and a wonderful weather. Well trained staff and more so the guards who brief customers on how to keep away from the animals especially in the evening. A place to witness the human and animal interface/co-existence. Wonderful dinning area both inside and outside. Nights are full of excitement from wild animals (Zebra, water bucks, Giraffe and hippos) feeding freely in the compound.
Lovely little hotel with home-like atmosphere and great stuff, very polite and helpful. Each part of the hotel is carefully decorated. Garden is beautiful, we enjoyed spending evening near fireplace. Food was excellent, WiFi was fast, we had hot water for shower. Our room was nice and spacious. This is a great deal, highly recommended!
I actually loved everything about the Apartment, from the view to the deco n to the furnishing, its a comfortable place that i can recommend to everyone willing to visit Vasha.. The service was perfect n she responded fast,I can definitely visit again😍
The room I stayed in felt like the attic of a cabin with everything I needed. The free breakfast. If heading west into town, there is a shortcut through a greenspace that has great views.
I found the room really cheap, and it was okay noting that I was staying only for two nights, Mike was really helpful all the time, and the room's utilities are good.
