“The hotel really is beautifully designed and a pleasure to be in. This is something that struck us at least once per day throughout our stay. Our room mirrored this experience. We had a lovely ocean view, a huge bed, and a great bathroom. Staff consistently exceeded expectations in terms of service, smiles and attention given. They were super flexible and attentive regarding when, what and where we wanted to eat our meals. The overall atmosphere among guests was friendly and the hotel had a familiar feel to it, with the owner's four dogs roaming the grounds occasionally looking for petting. For various reasons, we spent nearly every minute of our six-day stay on the hotel grounds, and we didn't get tired of being there for even one of those minutes.”

“Everything at sonrisa was just perfect, the rooms are huge and beautifully decorated, actually the whole resort has been beautifully designed and decorated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was super clean and is huge. We ate at the restaurant all but one night and the food was fantastic. the breakfast on the beach was really great. What can i say, we loved it, I would definitely recommend Sonrisa for anyone (unless you are looking for a party, then perhaps a little further up the beach). Thanks to all the Staff”

“Everything at this property was exceptional from staff to scenery! The individual villas and rooms are beautifully appointed and offer a direct line to Diani Beach. Since the property is situated at the end of the long line of hotels in Diani, you get to enjoy a wonderfully remote and tranquil place, away from the hubbub of the busier and, sometimes more intrusive, part of the island. The food offered from the onsite restaurant was incredible. It far exceeded my expectations, as did the bar drinks! The staff truly couldn't have been more kind and courteous and the entire atmosphere more peaceful and relaxing. I look forward to returning for a much longer stay!”

“The general feel of the hotel is comfortable, it's clean and staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner was also welcoming. My issue is that the bathroom felt a bit claustrophobic without a window, other than that all was well. It was a bit difficult to connect to WIFI in our room but it was working well in other areas like reception, bar and restaurant. The food was good and well presented however i had fish on the last night and it was overcooked and dry. Breakfast was always on point, we really enjoyed it.”
