We loved our stay at Bamboo House.. What you see is exactly what you get... Danielle the host was very welcoming and easy to relate with! Our favorite staff was Julianna.. such a wonderful warm lady! The ambience was ideal for our anniversary & gave us the cosy couple space we needed.. highly recommended this hidden gem.

Met Beach has a beautiful view of the ocean.. something you enjoy each time you go to the restaurant to have a meal.
We also enjoyed their Ala carte breakfast. Special thanks to Safari, our favourite among the staff, very kind and helpful.

Easy town to move around. Not that many pedestrian walkways. From my last visit(2023) there is an upgrade though. Need for more coffee places. The beach areas could be more cleaner. For coffee and lovely delicious snacks,go to Malaika restaurant opposite the Buntwani Beach Front. Walking is the healthiest way to move around Malindi,just don't give a visual contact with the boda boda taxis( you will ride unwillingly!) I visited the following places: Galana Shopping Centre Vasco da Gama Pillar Portuguese Chapel Malindi Marine National Park. I occasionally ate out from a wide range of restaurants in the city centre. Malindi was such a beautiful town, It's a small CITY but very diverse,we had lot's of fun in different historical sites...I loved the Marine park and the Island at the marine park with such pure water and beautiful sand... The shopping malls are great so much to do for activities.. Swahili Dishes was one of my best visits the food their was so amazing... I enjoyed my stay in Malindi also the people are Very friendly and helpful...

It's a great place to relax, unwind, enjoying the fresh air and breeze when it's not too humid. Lovely to view the sunrise @5.15am even from the spacious balcony rooms overlooking the ocean. Enjoy the compound, and the bars with other guests; or tye oeaceful and quiet area for readers. Its a holiday! Stand out and have fun!!

Laid back lifestyle, great beaches, wonderful Italian pizzas. Vasco Da Gama pillar and Portuguese chapel are right there. Museums need updating. Not a huge amount to do in Malindi but if you want to get out and about, Hell's Kitchen in Marafa is worth visiting. It is a mini mini Grand Canyon. Karibuni villas in Mambrui is also nice - clearest sea water you ever saw.Lemmuel J WUnited Kingdom

The greenery well kept garden was very nice. The staff were so welcoming and not forgetting Mr Peter,the host who was very helpful,he sorted all our queries with immediate effect. The interesting part is that the apartments are located inside Ocean Beach Resort,which is a 5 star hotel on Malindi. We accessed the restaurant which offered very delicious meals.
