Muni Residence and Spa is an incredible place to stay during your time in Battambang. The room, beds, bathroom and shower are fantastic, updated, and clean. But it is the warm hospitality that makes it truly special. We were greeted warmly and with a snack of dragonfruit and papaya grown from a home garden, kindly driven to the nearby restaurant we had selected for dinner and dropped off at the bus station on the day we left. It is one of the most personable accommodations I have ever stayed in and is a wonderful place.

Mr. Lay and his family were wonderful hosts. We felt at home right away. He immediately helped us find a great restaurant for lunch and dinner and follow-on transportation to our next destination in Cambodia. We also enjoyed the homemade cakes and tea after our dinner. The rooms are very spacious and very clean! And the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is spotless and drainage was not an issue whatsoever. The staff and owner here are very friendly and super helpful! From booking tuk tuks, great restaurants recommendations, and they also offer a spa treatment which I would highly recommend! My other half and I did on of the Couples package and it was very relaxing! The owner Lay was kind enough to make us some dessert and a breakfast with fruits from his own garden. if I could rate this higher than a 10 I definitely would. Best place to stay in Battambang without a doubt! they also offer laundry service which is always a plus.

Muni’s Residence is a very good choice for a few nights in Battambang. The location and some of the facilities in the room are maybe not perfect, but this is more than compensated by a very friendly, truly exceptional staff service! We were picked up from the bus station and the whole family did everything to make us feel comfortable and at home. From sharing recommendations, to renting a motorbike for a good price, offering self-made snacks and breakfast, and just being genuinely nice and welcoming. It is also a very good price-value. I highly recommend this place!

The property is located centrally in Battambang, on a peaceful and quiet street. The host Lay is absolutely amazing, and will treat you like family. He can help you with anything you need, such as tours, motorbike rentals, transfers etc. We experienced an amazing level of hospitality here that we’ve never seen before. Snacks, homemade desserts, welcome gift were graciously provided. Bicycles offered to us free of charge. Beds were super comfortable, literally the best beds we’ve ever had at any hotel.
