We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The accommodation was top-notch and impeccably managed. The owners were exceptionally kind and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. Situated near a nice village, the property offers a serene atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking. We loved the cozy, homelike ambiance and savored every bite of the delicious food form they own garden. Without a doubt, we'll be returning for another stay!

Manel's family are all lovely people. Manel is super helpful with arranging excursions and activities, and his wife cooks amazing food. The room was very clean, and the back deck was a great quiet place to hang out and read. There are hammocks there, and you can eat lunch back there too. There's a small selection of drinks in the fridge which can be grabbed at any time and added to your bill for payment when you check out. Manel accepts card payment (with a requisite fee, this is Cambodia after all) which is really helpful. The road is quiet at night. The air conditioning was pretty quiet and the room was basic but functional. Wifi was great. Very friendly, welcoming place, and a nice base for outings around Sen Monorom. I stayed during low season, which suited me, as it was generally chilled out; I can imagine high season being pretty lively here.

Rooms pretty basic but clean. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, who arranged my tours to nearby coffee plantation, mountain view and waterfall. All splendid excursions. Breakfast and good coffee is available in the coffee shop at an additional charge. Many restaurants nearby serving Khmer food and a good Italian restaurant near the square all at walking distance.

Beautiful room :) the staff was great! They helped us to book attractions (elephents, hiking) and bus tickets. Location is good, honestly there isn't much to do around in most places in this town (apart from the great view and nature around off course). Cute cats.

Loved the jungle in the bathroom. Great gin and tonics, pool table and horizon pool. Charming place in the jungle but with the lights of the city at night. Love the private lodges with comfy beds. Also found tour guide for reasonable price who was great.

Loved our stay at the Nature Lodge where we ate great food at the onsite restaurant. We had one full day trip sightseeing around Sen Monorom and surrounds where we went to a local Coffee Plantation for lunch which was higher in price for food (close to Australian prices) but very delicious, walked through local farms, Bou Sra Eco Park where we saw Bou Sra waterfall which I would recommend, the Sea Forest Lookout was a fun way to watch the sunset while taking cheesy touristy photos, and Sunset Hill/Phnom Do Kramom which gave us a beautiful panorama of Sen Monorom. A highlight of my entire Cambodian trip was the 2-Day jungle trek with the Mondulkiri Project which I would 100% recommend as an ethical ecotourism project which gives back directly to land conservation, supporting a local Indigenous village and the rescue and safe keeping of elephants which have been removed from previously unethical working backgrounds which endangered them. The town had everything we needed when visiting but didn't spend much time around the markets or town centre to be able to comment. Very easy to get a tuk tuk to get around and buses travel to and from major towns and cities daily.

We stayed at Sumeru Bungalows which was great, before visiting Mondulkiri Project to see some elephants in the wild and do a 1.5km trek through the jungle. As we're older travellers (50s-60s) we found some of the trek v challenging but it was worth it. Sleeping in hammocks was tough but doable for one night! Could be a bit more vegetarian food, boiled rice and plain vegetables was a bit light on for the level of activity, but the overall experience was incredible. Worth a visit for sure!

We were in Sen Monorom for 3 nights and 3 nights nearby in the Elephant Valley Project, retired elephant sanctuary which is an experience unto itself. 3 nights was plenty for us to see the sights around the city including some beautiful waterfalls, native Bunong villages and explore the city itself. We enjoyed eating at the Hefalump Cafe, the Bunong Kitchen and Mondulk-Italy Italian restaurant. The best food we had in all of Cambodia however was at the Elephant Valley Project where a full buffet of delectable selections for all types of diets, was put out at breakfast, lunch and dinner. More than anything else in Cambodia, I recommend a 2-night stay at EVP. Book in advance as it's the most popular and most ethical elephant interaction "attraction" in all of Cambodia. Enjoy!

I loved that the temperatures were cooler in Senmonorom than in other areas of Cambodia. Everyone I met was super nice. I spent most of my time at Elephant Valley Project, so I didn't get to explore the town as much though.

Go to the Elephant Valley Project, it was one of the best experiences of my life, and not to be missed! I learnrt so much about elephants, and it was wonderful to see how well they are cared for, and hear their life stories. Would recommend the 3 day option.
Eat at the Russian Restaurant, food was excellent (especially the dumplings and shawarmer) and staff were super friendly :-) They did take-away for us to for the long bus ride home.
Mondulkiri Pizza is a family run, unpretentious gem on a small river and in a great location in Sen Monorom, Mondulkiri Province in Cambodia. The pool, the magic garden, the good internet, the relaxing atmosphere, the staff and other intrepid travellers all make for a wonderful stay at Mondulkiri Pizza. The pride of the husband and wife team, attention to every detail and knowledge of host, Bong Dom was much appreciated.
The property itself is great and the room was very comfortable, albeit a little small. The family that run the hotel went out of their way to make me feel comfortable at all times and were incredibly hospitable.
Staff were lovely and woke up to our late arrival from Mondulkiri. Very well priced for what we needed :) 2 star hotel and it was what we expected so it was good :) close walk to buses and Main Street.
