“Before coming to Banteay Srey I had an alternative to take a guided tour for the day and then come back to Siem Reap, but I choose to book one night in this villa to explore more. And have no regrets - mostly because of the warm welcome and hospitality of Villa Banteay Srey owners. This is a very beautiful, recently built property owned by a heartful couple. I choose the room with a balcony and it had a spacious terrace with swings, lots of flowers and spectacular Mountain View. The room and villa itself are perfectly clean, owners make sure that everything stays clean all the time. In the morning the delicious breakfast with selection of coffee, tea, peanut butter, jam, toasts, fried bananas and fresh fruits is served - everything is tasty and with a personal touch. “Most friendly welcome by the hosts who are very kind, helpful and give a lot of information about the region, history, local culture and what to do in the area. The homemade breakfast is prepared at your convenience and includes homegrown fruit (the owner is happy to show you around the garden if you ask nicely), local breakfast items as well as bread and homemade jam. The pagoda in the garden is a great spot for a relaxing moment, reading a book or an afternoon snack. We loved the location as it is very close to the temple, driving distance to Phnom Kulen and changes from the hustle and bustle of the very touristic Siem Reap!
