It's a very quiet town , the sea food is some of the best I've ever had and very cheap for what it is.
It's not party town so if you want to go for that stick to Thailand.
Perfect for family's

I loved Kep. We stayed here for 2 days, 1 night. Went to the beach, enjoyed crab at the local restaurants and explored the national park. Kep is a beautiful little seaside village with lots to do. You could easily stay longer than we did.

Quiet little town with no real center.
Quiet little town with no real center. Better staying in the area of the crab market as there is absolutely nothing on the side of the jetty where you take the boat to go to rabbit island.
New restaurant right on the beach "the wave" is really really nice.
It is great to walk in the national park and definitely to spend a day or 2 on Rabbit island. Avoid the "Butterfly farm" as there were NO butterflies at least when we went there.

Kep has always been our go to place for the coast in Cambodia. Nice breezes, adequate beach, sailing when I am up for it.
The Nature preserve up the hill, the pepper plantations and salts flats worth visiting.
The crab is always great and fish as well. Dining on the water and watching the crab fishermen come and go is a great break from Phnom Penh.
As an experience we recommend trying the train from Phnom Penh to Kep at least once. You get to see a lot more of the country side than on the bus.

Of all the cities and villages we went to in Cambodia, Kep...
Of all the cities and villages we went to in Cambodia, Kep was definitely one of our favourites. It was very quiet when we were there (Tuesday thru Saturday), we heard it gets busier on the weekends but can’t really say for sure. It was easy to walk around, there’s a large and beautiful national park that starts in town, the bay, just so many lovely things. Visit the crab market and then go eat. Aim to be at one of the restaurant patios for sunset and crab dinner, freshly caught.
The manager is very helpful and fluent at English. Concerned about the well being of his guests and engaging with the appropriately to ensure they are happy.
The front desk staff however does not speak English. They need support from a super friendly lady in the kitchen, which sums up Cambodia for you. People are not in the right job.
I had a booking.com upgrade, and was offered a suite.
Super comfy bed to cambodian standards. I checked the other rooms, and there is no bed comfort difference between the suite and normal rooms.
The location is superb; the hotel is situated over the esplanade from the best beach in Kep and not far from Kep Deli where one can get a good French breakfast or lunch. Several good pizza shops are nearby, including Bella Pizza - very good and with delivery! The hotel has very attentive staff and a French owner who is exceptionally helpful. The chef here also serves tasty meals at a very reasonable price. The monkeys in the rainforest out the back are an interesting bonus.
This is a great place for an unhurried stay in a natural environment. Hidden away amongst the trees with chickens running free in the garden and the occasional visit from monkeys there is always entertainment. A good breakfast available from early morning until past midday adds to the charm. Coming from a boutique resort hotel this was a very different experience but very enjoyable when you relax into it. A great place if you believe in low impact sustainable tourism.
Exceptional host – Kris and exceptional place. There is a group of traditional small houses – bungalows, we had this one on stilts, amazing experience. Very silent place close to the National Park in the mountain. Bicycles/bikes for rent available on site. Food – exceptional like almost everything there, traditional Khmer cuisine. Not so far to Kep city and beach, but not in walking distance. Kris-all the best and very big thank you, we had amazing time in your hotel.
Jungle house is the best! We extended our stay by 4 days because we loved relaxing here so much. It is super comfortable and cool even in the middle of the day. We have been travelling for a few months and when we arrived in Kep we felt like we were on a holiday within a holiday. Chenda is an amazing host and excellent cook. Both Chenda and Sergei were so kind and helpful, thank you for a perfect stay.
the property is so gorgeous, a paradise in the small town of Kep. The owners are so so kind, so welcoming and ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, the AC was cold. Can’t fault the place, if we ever come back to Kep we would 100% come back to the Darica resort.
The resort is beautifully located with in the background forest covered mountains from Kep National Park. We rented a motorbike from them and went into the park and to the beach. The swimming pool is great, and the garden is just beautiful. Would stay here again!
Great location just a two minute walk from Kep Beach. Pleasant rooms with comfortable beds. The staff in the dining area and at reception were particularly helpful. Special mention can be made of the cook who indulged us with his recipes. An enjoyable stay.
Very cute boutique hotel on the beachfront in Kep. The staff was absolutely lovely, especially the manager Carolina! I particularly liked the fact that the hotel is eco friendly. The food in the restaurant was also delicious. Highly recommend this place!
The place is very quiet, near the beach but you can’t hear the card on the road when you’re in the hostel. The staff is friendly and polite. Their food is delicious and affordable. This is one of my best stay so far.
I could work peacefully.
Superb hotel located near Kep National Park and from walking distance of the crab market and Kep Town.
We loved the food and waking in the middle of the jungle, opening the curtains and seeing the view overlooking the ocean.
Peace and quiet off the main road.
Lovely family business
Home cooked Italian meals were delicious.
Stall in crab market had the best Cafe Latte.....was unusual to find it in such a bustling local place
Great room, simple but comfortable and exactly what I needed. I really like turning my phone off and not having electricity for a bit as you get more time to appreciate where you are
