Our first time in a traditional Hanok! It was great. It was clean and well kept. He even had the kitchen stocked for us to cook. It’s close to a lot of great things—all within walking distance. We didn’t even need a car!

Patrick is wonderful and so kind and helpful. He helps with whatever you need. Breakfast is amazing! Staying at a hanok is a wonderful experience and is the heart of the city. Easy access to the subway.

Very kind and helpful host (helped us with buying train tickets and getting to the train station), delicious Korean style breakfast - probably the best breakfast I ever had at a hotel-like place, great location (close to many sightseeing must-sees, but away from the crowds), authentic hanok vibe and a first-hand taste of how Koreans used to live in the past.

A lovely stay at this traditional Hanok house! Patrick and his family (the owners) were very sweet and made us feel safe and welcome. We REALLY enjoyed the Korean breakfast they made us every day! It was a real joy each morning. The room was a good size (we appreciated the upgrade to a larger room) and although pretty basic, the beds on the floor were really comfortable and we enjoyed sleeping this way. The interior patio is lovely and the kitchen facilities good - there was hot and cold water, teas and coffee for us to help ourselves too. We also appreciated the bottled water in the fridge in our room and the hand sanitiser and free face masks provided (re: Covid-19). The house itself is compact so if you don't like to be on top of other people then perhaps it isn't for you. The house is on a very pretty street and right in the centre of the Bukchon Hanok Village, within easy access of restaurants, shops, galleries, and cafes. Thanks for a great stay, Patrick and family.

The hanok experience was great! Patrick was super nice and hospitable. The included breakfast was also delicious.

Patrick was very helpful and welcoming. His home is beautiful, the breakfast was yummy, we had the choice between bread and rice, which was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Like their signature Korean style breakfast and the environment. A really good experience to stay in this Korean style accommodation. Will definitely come back again.

The room was very quaint and clean in a quiet street. The directions were helpful and the owners are so nice! Breakfast was delicious every morning!

The host was extremely helpful. He was very nice, honest, friendly and can communicate in English. It was my first time In Korea and I arrived to the property quite late at night. The host waited for us and showed us our room with smiles. I would strongly recommend this for anyone

Everything was perfect, the room was really comfortable. It was our first time sleeping in a traditional Korean house and we were not sure if sleep in the floor would be a good idea, but it exceeded our expectations! We did not feel the cold at all, it was always warm, and the food was amazing ! Patrick was super friendly and lovely, he explained everything when we needed help, always asking if we needed something else. Some people gave a questionable feedback about bathroom, it's true that is tiny, but it's also functional, so it's not an issue at all. The neighborhood is very nice and close to everything! You need to walk around 5-7 minutes to get the closer subway station (Anguk). If we go back we will definitely stay here again 😁
