Words cannot describe how much I loved staying in the beautiful hostel. The hostel has everything to make your stay comfortable : Spotless clean, equipped with all utilities, beautiful decor, great patio and many restaurants at proximity. The best part of my stay was the host herself. Lena is extremely helpful. My girlfriend and I were taken care like my mom would do. She helped us in arranging a printer to print out our boarding tickets. She let us keep our luggage inside our room for one day even though we hadn't booked it for that particular day. She let us check in early with a big smile. And she made us tea and served some cookies with home made apricot jam. And to top it all, she gave us the traditional Kazakhstan chocolate as a parting gift. Truly the best hostel I have ever stayed. I highly recommend staying at the Viator hostel.

The hostel is just perfect, exceeded my expectations in every way. We were welcomed with a beautiful smile of Lena. She gave us useful tips regarding visiting Almaty and restaurants to eat. The place is spotless clean. It felt more of a boutique hostel. The rooms have beautiful wall papers. You get all the facilities to make your stay relaxing. Lena graciously let us stay after the check out time until evening so that we could freshen up before catching our train to Tashkent. The hostel is located in a queit neighborhood with many restaurants at walking distance. Highly recommend this hostel to everyone

We had absolutely amazing time during our time spent at Viator Hostel. This is not exactly a classic hostel, more like a guesthouse run by a lovely, helpful lady, Lena. The location is perfect, close to Almaty city center and Kok Tobe cable car station. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms/showers/toilets are super clean and well equipped. It was very helpful that they organised a proper and fair taxi ride to Big Almaty Lake and recommeded a great tour guide for a day trip to Charyn Canyon. We can only recommend this place!
