The staff is amazing, always attentive and ready to assist, and very discreet. The rooms are big, at the same time cozy and comfortable, arranged with attention to detail. Each room has a big balcony with beautiful view. the property is beautiful, with a well sized infinity pool overseeing the mountains, and with a beautiful well maintained garden. The property is in a quiet location, but at the same within walking distance from the night market and the main touristic objectives.

We definitely recommend the sunset river cruise on the Mekong River; we had such an incredible time. The cooking class with Chef Larissa was a very special activity as well. Very attentive staff, amazing place, garden is incredible, pool has a stunning view. Chef's food was delicious, breakfast and dinner were both really great. Very skilled spa masseuses, she knew how to adapt her massage to pregnant women, which is very rare. Welcome ceremony was a first for us & we loved it. We also did the almsgiving experience with la résidence phou vao and I would genuinely recommend it. Both will remain amazing memories for us. They did everything for your stay to be unforgettable !

The Belmond was a wonderful home away from home. The hotel had a beautiful design and offered magnificent views of the mountains. Accessing Luang Prabang was easy thanks to the shuttle transport provided by the hotel. Our family suite was spacious, clean and had excellent amenities. However, what made this place truly exceptional was the staff. They went above and beyond to treat us like family, making sure all our needs were met, sometimes even anticipating them before we asked. We would like to give a special shoutout to Andre and the restaurant staff for taking such great care of us. We look forward to returning to this amazing place.
