United States of AmericaLocation was excellent. Central yet in a quiet street tucked away from the busy street which set up for a night food market daily. It was convenient to get street food for dinner for a few evenings. Additionally, this area known as City Center is a few streets away from the touristy areas so many of the restaurants are catered to local people and much more authentic. The roof top level has a beautiful dining area with a great view of sunsets. I hosted a small dinner for 20 people and it was very private and was reasonably affordable. The pool was nice too. The towels were huge and sitting area quiet. The staff was excellent and helpful all the time.

Rooftop swimming pool was blissful @ sunset. Excellent location, walking distance to many fine restaurants. Best thing about La Poet was recently relocated management team of Philipe (Swiss) and May (Burmese). They could not be more gracious and helpful. They immediately upgraded us to a suite on top floor after we complained about construction noise on back side of hotel. Wonderful stay!

They helped coordinate transport to/from airport and train station, and helped us secure tickets to the high-speed train. I forgot my Kindle in the room and they worked tirelessly to return it to me. Highly recommend.
ThailandThe hotel staff were attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly prepared. WiFi was provided free. The bathroom was very comfortable; my room had a walk-in shower, which is what I prefer.
SingaporeBeautiful property… a very modern but artist inspired hotel… I liked it a lot, wonderful location in the historic French Colonial District. Helpful staff, a rooftop infinity pool, decent restaurant, and parking.
