We opted for the air conditioned bungalow on the river with balcony and breakfast. Though it might seem a little expensive for Southeast Asia, the facilities, the beautiful location, the amenities, the cleanliness and especially the amazing staff made our stay worth every penny. The room was clean and comfortable and the resort was beautiful. Even if you stay in the budget rooms, you have access to all the amenities of the resort including kayaks, the patio with umbrellas and cushioned lounge chairs, and even a bonfire each night. Tomas and his staff are very knowledgeable about the area and activities available. The location of the resort and the surrounding area is breathtaking. One of the most beautiful locations I’ve seen in Laos.

Excellent location, relaxing and beautiful. Owners are lovely people who will look after you, and their staff are very good and attentive. The accommodation both garden view and river view lodges are comfortable and well priced. Food is excellent. Access to cave tours by riverboat from the resort.

Beautiful location off the beaten track. The restaurant and lounge views were amazing. With the cabins it feels like you are in a jungle summer camp, in the best way possible. Staff was very friendly.

A real resort at the best place, looking at the river. amazing views, private lagoon you can kayak to, lots of activities around the resort. the stuff was amazing and the restaurant is great. perfect place to spend some days relaxing and enjoying Laos.

The location was surrounded by splendid nature views, the staff were super helpful and friendly, the accommodation and amenities were sparkling clean and the extraordinary cuisine was prepared not only with top ingredients but also presented with with an artistic touch. The owners work together with local farmers, who supply local grown food and transport to Kong Lor Caves that are accessible by local boat from this property. Truely magnificent experience!

There is a lot to do! I highly recommend taking a boat upriver to the cave (they will also bring you back) - great way to see river life and weave amongst the boulders. The cave is mind-blowing, of course. One of earth's natural wonders. Kayaking to the spring is gorgeous and cool, and you can also kayak four hours downstream to swim, lunch, stare down the water buffalo and meet the villagers. The service at the resort is a 10 out of 10 - both courteous & efficient. The food here is also a 10 out of 10. Delicious Thai/Lao dishes with a few western dishes sprinkled in. Definitely enough variety for a three to five day stay. Ya gotta love this place!

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER HOTEL RESPONSE: The reply is complete lies. My partner and I do not drink alcohol. We never left our food or drinks unattended. In fact, they arrived at my table with flies in. I am really disappointed with the response as it is not how I would expect a hotel to act. I gave it an 8/10 but please do not stay here and give this con-man money Original: Honestly, if this was in Italy or Switzerland you'd be happy to be over £100 a night for this providing there were a few improvements. The resort is stunning. Everything is so well-kept. The shared bathrooms and showers are kept very clean. The bungalows have mosquito nets, bug repellant, all types of bathroom amenities. The river is nice to swim in as well
