We had a fabulous at Lorraine's A Peace of Paradise. She's a very warm hearted woman and I felt much at home. It's a spacious apartment, which could easily be shared among different parties. It has plenty of space, the rooms and bed are very comfortable and Lorraine did everything to make our stay comfortable

  • Hello, it is possible to see images of the entrances to this property? We're travelling with our mum who has limited mobility. many thanks.
    Thank you for your message. In the front of the house there are 12 steps. However, the side entrance has no steps and can be reached by walking in the yard up a slight incline. I will post pictures on this venue. Thanks again for your inquiry.

A Peace of Paradise, a spacious 4 bedroom apartment near the beach and international airport, is the perfect retreat away from it all, great for couples, friends and families looking for an affordable accommodation in a quiet neighborhood that offers pleasant views of the harbor, sea and distant mountains. A car is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to comfortably access the many amazing attractions around the island and to quickly move back and forth around the area for shopping, dining and the beach. Nearby activities includes the Sandy beach, hiking, the Moule a Chique Lighthouse, wind and kite surfing, paddle boarding and horseback riding. Shopping and the beach are 5 to 7 minute drive. The property manager lives in a separate apartment on the ground floor and is available through what's app for arranging activities, tours and general information. There are 2 older rescued dogs living on the property and neighborhood cats passing through. Free Wifi and a flat screen TV with an HDMI for streaming movies via guests tablet/laptop.
Welcome to Paradise, I am Lorraine. I moved to St. Lucia from the US in 1995. Originally from New York, I have been fortunate enough to reside in San Francisco, Atlanta and Seattle prior to relocating to beautiful St. Lucia. Presently, I live in the most charming community of Moule a Chique on the Southern Coast of this exotic island. The people are very warm and welcoming to all of my guests. It is very quiet and peaceful here with lovely sea and sunset views. Not a lot of nighttime activity but close to shopping and the beach. Contact me in advance of your arrival to arrange online Payment via Zelle, Paypal, Wise or Bank Transfer to allow contactless check-in and to guaranty your reservation. I can arrange airport transportation, hiking tours, climbing the Petit Piton, shopping and meal delivery. I look forward to greeting you upon arrival with my friendly rescued dogs Lexi and Brown Dog. Vieux Fort town is just a few minutes' drive away, as is Hewanorra International Airport. You can even see the occasional airplane approaching the runway right from your balcony. Vieux Fort boasts the longest, easily accessible soft sandy beach in St Lucia: Sandy Beach, with its scenic off-shore twin Maria Islands: now home to the world's rarest species of (harmless) snake. Sandy Beach which is about a 7 minute drive is also one of the Caribbean's finest bays for windsurfing and kitesurfing. The Moule a Chique Peninsula is a popular exercise spot and early morning and late afternoon usually sees dozens of people walking or jogging the two miles from Vieux Fort town to the Lighthouse Viewing Point, from where the entire southern half of St Lucia lies at your feet. You can see the neighboring island of St Vincent, 30 miles across the St Vincent Channel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. A quick drive down the hill into town you will find grocery shopping. There are a variety of very nice dining options within driving distance including local cuisine, Grill'n Chill, French Market, beachside and Japanese cafes. KFC and Dominoes are here and offer delivery.
