The whole estate is amazing, all the lodges settled in their own private part of the estate. There are so much interesting things to learn at the resort, such as all the interesting plants, chocolate making, walking tour and histories etc. Every day was full of activities for us and we enjoyed every moment there.
All the staff are super kind and helpful. The reception staff made our check in/out very smooth and happy to help on any questions and activities. Especially appreciated their kind offer to check out late for complimentary when one of my kid was sick on the day we supposed to leave. It made our journey home so much easier, after she had enough rest. The restaurant supervisor was very kind and tried to make sure my picky eater kids have enough food to eat. And all the staff we encountered inside the estate, offered us coconut water to drink, showed us interesting fruits to eat and they are full of fun and always have something interesting to show us.

Soufriere is a fantastic place to stay to visit many of the natural wonders of St Lucia (Pitons, Sulphur springs, Diamond Waterfall, snorkelling areas etc), without needing to make long journeys from the more popular north of the island. Soufriere is full of character and we found it to be much more relaxed than Castries - having chickens roaming the streets just added to that character and the resulting sounds were much more welcome than traffic noise. The apartment is well looked after and provided all of the facilities that we needed, especially air conditioning, and is a short walk to the local supermarkets.
The apartment is located 2 minutes walk from the local public beach, which is a meeting point for water taxis and provide a great way to access the nearby snorkelling areas. Mora provided a very reliable service in arranging airport pickups, car rental and snorkelling trips.
Apartment Soleil- Because Location really is everything! offers accommodation in Soufrière. The accommodation features groceries delivery. The accommodation features a TV with cable channels.

Spacious, convenient, and clean. Parking right outside the gate, close to restaurants and beach. The view from the room is amazing. Host is very responsive if any questions arise. When I return to St Lucia this is going to be where I choose stay again.
Set on a lush tropical estate, Anse Chastanet Resort is situated between Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin beaches, and offers wonderful views of Petit and Gros Piton mountains and the Caribbean Sea.

Soufriere is a weird kind of place, it looks sad and it was a place where we didn't feel safe, lots of men sitting around offering you stuff, we only found 1 restaurant half decent (where we ate at twice and the food was lovely, don't remember the name but it's close to the dock and it looks like it's where tour guides take tourists to), lots of drunk people on the street too.
I understand why people go to St Lucia and just stay at their resorts, this area is not yet prepared to receive tourists who like to explore.
The beaches nearby are nice but Sugar Beach is ridiculous, yes, it is beautiful but it is absurd that a 5 star hotel takes up the whole beach.
I'm glad we only spent 1 night here and the rest of the holiday in Rodney Bay, where there are more restaurants and lovely beaches. Much better infra-structure for tourism.

Great place for a base to St Lucia, as the most interesting places to visit are near here. There are a lot of locals that hang out in the city which makes it congested but they are very friendly, and all the people in the shops were friendly as well. The beach in the city is decent, and free, whereas the nearby resort ones are very nice but cost $$. I would base here again. Driving the road north is something you'll want to do only once due to how long it takes and the aggressive drivers, so plan accordingly!! :)

The resorts are great, it’s close to many adventures and sights… but in all my years of travel I’ve never been so hounded by peddlers. There were a few times we felt unsafe and were yelled at for not buying something. We

Soufriere is a must for anyone who visits St Lucia; there are the Pitons, the sulphur springs, Diamond baths and waterfalls and the botanical gardens and more. The locals are kind, polite, you are never hassled. The food is good and lots of good walks, transport is good. A good place to chill, walk or take a boat ride to the left Anse Chastanet or to the right to Sugar Beach.

We hiked the Gros piton trail- strenuous but rewarding although they wouldn’t let us see the second viewpoint at the peak of petit piton which was disappointing. We also liked the diamond falls botanical garden- small but beautiful. Fun town with some good restaurants- we ate at the hummingbird restaurant which was excellent.
Amazing location in the centre of town. The apartment was perfect! Modern decor, air con, fans, comfortable sofas and bed, well equipped kitchen. We thought the apartment was much better than the pictures indicated and hope they update them so more people want to come to stay at this lovely place! If you’re coming to St Lucia I wouldn’t stay in Soufriere for your whole time but it’s a charming place to visit that you shouldn’t miss out for a couple of nights! Definitely worth exploring beyond Rodney Bay and Resorts
That is a hidden gem in St Lucia. Absolutely love our stay here. Let me list a few point that we really appreciate:
1) communication with the owner prior to arrival
2) we provided an estimate arrival time and Calixte met us and help with the road to the property.
3) absolutely beautiful atmosphere and the million dollars view from the balcony!
4) spotless room, kitchen and bathroom. Like the soft 5* hotels towels.
5) fresh fruits and flowers in the room and herbs from Calixte garden - he gave us.
You are never going to find a pool with such an amazing view anywhere in the world. The view from our large balcony on the first floor was equally wonderful, looking directly at the Pitons over the valley. Our room was enormous and the restaurant(which is run independently) had very tasty food and lovely staff. The hotel itself is not smart, but a combination of old converted farm building which have loads of character. Its a very special place.
This is by far one of the best places you can stay in St Lucia. The hotel is located in the hills above Soufrière, a perfect location to explore all the amazing activities St Lucia has to offer. I would say it is helpful if you have your own car as nothing is within walking distance. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, the place is super clean and the view is just breath taking. The rooms are lovely, with incredible amenities.
The Plus:
- Incredible location, with unprecedented views of Petite Piton and the village of Soufriere.
- Within walking distance of the town and the public beach
- Within driving distance of all major attractions around the southwest of the Island.
- The pool is swimmable and offer amazing views
- Staff was courteous and always helpful.
- comfortable rooms, with solid A/C if the heat is too much, and reliable hot water for showers.
Isaiah was an awesome host and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy La Pelle and Soufriere. Not only did he make sure we knew where to go in town, but he constantly checked in on us to ensure we were having a great time. The place itself was beautiful with an awesome view and incredibly close (walking distance) to all of the spots in Soufriere including the market.
Me and my wife needed a place to stay 1 night before we take a sailboad from Soufriere.
The place is very close to the main pier where the boats anchor and all you need is around the hotel. Restaurants, bars, supermarket, pharmacy. I had an issue with my board during the flight to Sta. Lucia and I could find all materials needed to fix my kite board neraby the hotel.
The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful.
The breakfasts was included in my plan. Breakfast were amazing and delicious!
Excellent services from the moment I arrived to the end of my departure from staffs at Villa Des Pitons. It’s a service that you would not find anywhere else.
Excellent location 10 minutes walk from Soufriere beach and centre but very quiet with garden growing tropical fruits and peaceful mountain view from valley botttom. Adequate kitchen and bathroom, comfy bed. Cisco is a great host. Excellent value.. Big ceiling fans so the new air con unit in the living room is rarely needed.
The view from La Haut is beautiful. the resort is a "rustic" resort with older rooms and restaurant. the 2 pools were well maintained and the infinity pool had a wonderful view of Soufriere, the Pitons, and the ocean. Housekeeping staff was very nice and were very good at keeping our room clean.
Stunning views. Best location on the island with plenty to do. Lovely friendly staff, especially Tim for whom, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable bed. Fluffy towels. Great fresh fruit for breakfast. Live music was fun. We enjoyed our stay here. A friendly hotel.
The hotel had a nice breakfast with some ingredients from the property farm. Rooms are beautiful. Comfy beds. Good shower. Beautiful area close to Pitons and mud baths. The chocolate tour is informative and fun.
One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in a non luxury hotel. We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the little porch surrounded by fruit trees. Really friendly neighbors and Glenda and Valery were super nice.
The apartment was very well equipped, with great facilities, located in a calm area of Soufriere. The communication with the staff was excellent, they were very helpful and friendly.
Very spacy and well-equipped new apartment with breathtaking view on the valley of Soufriere including the Pitons, the city and the see from the balcony and also from the bedroom.
