This property was beautiful and accommodating! Especially the staff, bless them! The most jolly and welcoming ever. And that’s what you appreciate in places like this. There isn’t much to do nearby as it’s very remote so you do spend a significant amount of time at the retreat itself. The resturant food is also amazing! So definitely appreciate the effort. The location is stunning, as are the rooms, which are stylish and comfortable. The almost deserted beach is beautiful and further imbues a sense of calm. To top it off the restaurant is superb and the staff are friendly and efficient. It’s also really good value.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Lankavatara and would definitely come back. The beach is stunning, the staff is really friendly and the hotel is very nice. Breakfast options and the food at the restaurant is great! The team at Lankavatara helped to organise our trip to Udawalawe and that went really well, and wife loved her massage at the spa. Can't recommend Lankavatara enough!

The location is very nice, the hotel is situated on a private beach, staff was extremely friendly (especially Maduraga from the restaurant was super friendly and always with a smile). Very comfortable chairs on the terrace.

Loved our beautiful apartment - absolutely stunning interiors and loved the fact that all the furniture is hand made and made with natural materials. You can really feel the essence of nature throughout the grounds. The beach is gorgeous and they have lots of sun loungers and beds to fully relax. The spa is fabulous and everyone in our group went twice as it was that good. The restaurant is lovely, food is fantastic and good value for money! The staff are attentive and overall, we had a great experience. Would 100% recommend and wish we had booked extra nights :) Thank you again to everyone at Lankavatara.

All the staff where amazing, the reception, cleaning and bar staff very helpful. The location was quiet and secluded. The food in the hotel was Great...The upoint restaurant across the way was amazing. Sampath the driver from the hotel, was the nicest and most helpful.
