Everything about this place was wonderful: the room, the host, the food, the mongooses running through the forest when we arrived, the safari they arranged. Great value. The best place we've stayed in Sri Lanka.

The room is very comfy, the food was amazing and the safari was great. We even asked for a taxi from nature house to Ella. It was booked for us with an incredible driver. The room was absolutely not expensive. We took the meals with it.

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend this place if doing a safari in Udawalawe. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and modern and in a nice jungle-like setting. Breakfast was good, and the Sri Lankan buffet dinner was fantastic! The owner was very friendly and helpful in organizing our early morning safari, and the price for the room and meals was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend Nature House and would stay here again. Thank you for a great experience!

Thilak and his family and staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly! The food was delicious and the service was perfect. The place was immaculately clean. We very much enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it. We've been in Sri Lanka for two weeks so far and it's our best stay. (And I overheard another guest say he's been in Sri Lanka for five weeks and it was the best). The Nature House's safari driver, Adeep, was also wonderful. We have now done safaris in Uda Walawe, Yala, and Bundala, and Adeep provided the best experience of all.

The owner is a great guy with nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He arranged a safari at Udawalawe National Park for us, as well as transportation back to Colombo. The food was delicious and not too spicy. Great location surrounded by a forest of teak trees. The place had a diesel generator for backup power during outages.
