Nestled adjacent to a small mountain and bordered by the natural boundary of the national park, the site offers a unique combination of agricultural, ecological, and conservation value.Terrain and land use as below Natural Features: Includes an on-site lake, providing a freshwater ecosystem and scenic value. Agriculture- Functioning rice paddy fields.Cultivation of various vegetables, fruits, and herbal plants,promoting sustainable and organic farming. Biodiversity- friendly land use, supporting both flora and fauna. Biodiversity and Wildlife- As part of the Udawalawe ecosystem, the site is home to numerous bird species, including migratory and endemic varieties. Mammals, likely including elephants, deer, and small carnivores. Nocturnal animals, enriching the habitat’s ecological dynamics.
