The place is quite and perfect to relax in the mountains. It has a wonderful view and sunset. Chamara showed us the property with tea, cinnamon, pepper, mangos etc. He helped us to get the train at Kandy station. Nothing bad - we are thankful that we found Old Frankland and Chamara!

Then we were stunned by the views and the warmest welcome we have had on Sri Lanka: the staff greeted us as if we were family. The room was big and clean, with a balcony overlooking the pool and the mountains. Dinner was really tasty and breakfast just over the top. We enjoyed the sunset while swimming in the pool with an amazing mountain view and watched the sunrise from our balcony. Really nice to buy some local spice that’s grown right here at the plantation.
