“Rest Way Inn is a good place to stay in Trincomalee, especially if you want to go whale watching or stay at a nice beach, which is very close. Little shops and restaurant are also there. Tuktuk drivers wait on the street. First evening a young boy took care of us, he was very kind and helped us immediatly with every problem we had. Mohan was in charge of the breakfast and cleaning and he did his job very good. Both room and the bathroom were perfectly clean. For the breakfast we got eggs with bread, marmalade, tea and coffee, fruit. We ate it at the terracce outside our room, that was fantastic. To sum up, this place is nice and very good value for money. Even if we stayed short time, we felt very good, almost familiar, atmosphere.”

“Spacious rooms with nice terrace , fridge, AC and comfortable beds. Centrally situated in the City of Trincomalee- as weil as short way from the beach also. Due to off saison no meals were provided- but recommended restaurants are in walking distance. A kitchen with all needed equipment can be used if you bring food and/or drinks from outside. Spacious area at the terrace to enjoy the evening with your friends. Very helpful and friendly stuff. There is also a private parking area inside the gates.”

“トリンコマリー中心街の南はずれ、サンディ・コーヴ・ビーチに近いこの宿に3泊した。一帯は下町という感じ。大きな施設やスーパーはないが、小さな店（雑貨、食品など）、ホーッパ焼屋がすぐ近くにある。宿では朝食は出すが、ランチ・ディナーの提供はなし、適当なレストラン・料理店に出かけるか、自分で調えるしかない。しかし、これはある面「楽しさ」と言えるかも知れない。しかし、これはスリランカ旅行経験者にとってということで、初めてのこの地訪問者は戸惑うかも知れない。私が泊まったのは3階唯一の一室（2階の3室に西洋人若者4～5名が泊まっていた）。バルコニーがあり、広さ・設備、清潔さなど十分満足。3泊4日、快適な宿であった。 ただ、この宿の経営形態を知っておくべきだろう。① オーナーはこの宿に常駐せず、別に住む、②8時～17時、初老の従業員が出勤して、朝食提供、部屋などの清掃、旅客の到着対応、③オーナーは17時～翌日8時、宿にいて、諸事項処理。 以上宿の事情を承知した上で、この宿を利用するとなかなか快適と言える。部屋は清潔で、設備も良い。オーナーは旅の相談に気軽に対応してくれる。”“0”
