STAY Spaces (Private) Limited is a family-owned company created to manage the private holiday homes of the family. Besides STAY at Ahangama, we also manage a two-bedroom holiday villa located in the secluded village of Kalahe, named STAY at Kalahe. Our property manager, Sanjeewa, will attend to your needs throughout your stay with us.

Property info

STAY at Ahangama is a 1950s built villa renovated to its current standard in 2016. The villa is very spacious and lets in plenty of light, especially in the main livingroom area. The villa features a middle courtyard with a fish pond and a pool with a deck to cool off the usually hot temperature in Galle. You can reach Ahangama beach within five minutes (walking), and Mirissa beach or Unawatuna beach in 20 minutes by vehicle. The Galle Fort is within a 25 minute drive from our property.

Neighborhood info

Ahangama our my ancestral town. This is the town where our grandfather and our father were born and raised. It is a place we have been visiting ever since we were children, so most of the townsfolk are known to us :) The neighborhood is a moderately busy, however it gets quiet during the night time. The villa is situated right on the edge of Ahangama town, so you have access (a two-minute walk) to grocery stores, small restaurants, etc. There is lots of parking space for at least four vehicles on the property. We recommend walking to Ahangama town, a less than two-minute walk from the villa. Also, if you want to travel out of Ahangama, we can arrange a taxi for you on request. Additionally, you will have plenty of access to trishaws and buses at the top of the road.
