We reached their after having a wonderful train ride from Kandy to Ella & they have a free shuttle service from the railway station to the hotel. So we didn't face any hassle. They served a warm home made herbal drink as their welcome drink which made us real refresh after long journey. Until departure they have taken care of us personally & given us high delicious food. There are so many activities in the property & they served chilled beer next to us while we were seating & enjoying their fish therapy. Train View Chalet has touched the nature 100% & view of the train passing was amazing. After having a sound sleep they have organized a very good half day tour & drop us to the Yala National park safely. All the very best Train View Chalet!!! Highly recommended.

Loved the HOT water solar shower cause I arrived in monsoon rain & was soaking wet. Fantastic service cause they laundered my wet cycling clothes & presented them back @ 7 am . Amazing service!

The comfortable chalets away from the hustle of Ella and Bandarawela are tucked away in a beautiful garden with plenty of flowers. The owner arranged an excellent tour on our way to Ella rock with an open 4X4 vehicle during which we experienced a most beautiful forest with eucalyptus trees ever seen, and thereafter the historical train and the 9 arches bridge and a scenic drive through the legendary Lipton thee estate with a visit to the authentic production hall. Warmly recommended.

The Train View Chalet is a peacful place with nothing than the sounds of nature around - far away from a noisy City. The room was generous, clean and well equipped. The place is awesome! They put so much love and effort in that project. You feel this with every bit and piece. The room design is very cool. Modern, spacious, with everything you need. Here you feel very close to the nature. Nice stay far from the main road. We also had dinner and breakfast here. The food is really delicious and portions are huge.

We enjoyed our stay here a lot! the location is great, in the nature, next to the railways but only 5 min Tuk Tuk drive to bandarawela. the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, at night you can listen to the nature sounds. the staff is very friendly and organised train tickets, Tuk Tuks for us. They welcomed us with tea and two plates of sweets. they prepare very delicious food, do all fresh so sometimes you have to wait a bit, but it’s not a a problem at all in holiday :) we really recommend to stay there!
