Property info

Before 140 years, in the English governing period Villa Cookie Aunt House was build up with three houses and timely two houses were totally ruined. The remaining one started to renovate in the year of 2012, and it has fully completed in December 2014. From July 2015 this has opened to tourist experience as a luxury villa. It is historical value evidenced by its architecture design with wooden balcony, wooden carves and fascinating inside entrance with carved Arch. Four numbers of oil lamps called DAMBADENI LAMPS which used at that time for lightning purposes still remained to prove its 140 years of memories. The villa consists with 3 luxurious bedrooms, each room facilitated by 200 cm x 200 cm size bed, veranda and attached bathroom with hot water and small courtyard. The living area with fully wooden floor shows its historic view. 21 square meters size kitchen facilitated 0ven, refrigerator, electric kettle and express coffee machine. This also opened experienced to 45 square meters (9x5) size swimming pool and garden with 2000 square meter area. The villa is covered with security fence instead of wall and it will help to relax with village sceneries.

Neighborhood info

Villa is located in a nest of tourist destinations like Kosgoda Turtle Nesting Beach, Kosgoda River, Kosgoda cinnamon plantation, Ancient Buddhist Temples and Madu Ganga etc. It’s just only 5 minutes walking distance for Kosgoda Turtle Nesting Beach from the Villa. The World 2nd largest turtle called Green Turtle mostly reach to Kosgoda beach to lay eggs. So many olive ridley turtle also come to this beach. Hawksbill Turtle also you can be seen in this beach but it’s not that much when compared to above mentioned two types of turtles. However, the rare types of turtles like Logger head turtle and Leather back turtle also rarely reach to this Beach. The important of this beach is every day of the year you can observe turtles. Another tourist destination called Kosgoda River also flow from 3 minutes walking distance from the Villa. This place is covered with higher bio diversified environment. The both riverbanks are sheltered from Mangroves plants and Villa has ready to offer a novel experience to observe these bios diversified environment using a catamaran. Within 20 minutes of time you can reach to Bentota special tourist destination.
