Nice, quiet location, away from hustle and bustle of the city center. Owner Manju knows a lot about Sri Lanka, from his extensive experience as a tour guide. He can give great advice and helped us out at the moment our tuktuk broke down. Very good food. We booked a safari through the hotel, and it was a great experience. Good driver that knows how to find all the animals and really takes pride in finding them. We saw the leopard, elephants, elks, jackals, sloth bear and many more.

Yala Peace Cottages is located in Tissamaharama, 3 km from Tissa Wewa, 3.5 km from Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara and 3.3 km from Ranminitenna Tele Cinema Village. The accommodation is 40 minutes from Yala National Park. A jeep safari can be arranged by our tour desk. The Yala Peace cottages provide a garden and terrace, all units are fitted with a seating area. The rooms have a private bathroom and some have a lake view. Free WiFi is available. Free car park is available. The visitors are recieved by the owner with an original welcome drink. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes and also typical Sri Lankan food. The daily breakfast is included and offers continental, a la carte or Asian options. The area is popular for cycling, bike and car hire are available. Speaking German and English at the 24-hour front desk, staff are always on hand to help.
