Great location. Excellent reception staff who addressed any concerns prior to arrival and during our stay

We have made also very early check in, which was possible.. by surprise :) I wanted to thank to Levs. As a staff he was really helpful and friendly, also as a person very interesting to talk to. Gutenbergs I think is one of the best hotels in the city. When I am back to Riga next time definitely I will book accommodation there.
GermanyCentral location. Everything was easily walkable or a short taxi journey away. Hotel was really nice with great features, comfortable bed and room amenities were spot on. The staff were generally friendly with a special shout out to Levz. He was the best kind of example of customer service. Super friendly, always said hello and remembered all our names, always offering help and making sure we had everything we need. He certainly went above and beyond.

Renovated in 2015, Hotel Gutenbergs is family-run hotel set in the centre of the Old Town of Riga, next to the Dome Square and Dome Cathedral. Located in 17th and 19th century connected buildings, guests can choose between luxurious chandeliers, high ceilings, historical engravings, paintings and antique furniture in one part of the hotel and 300-year old wooden balks, sloping floors and lower ceilings in the other.
Decorated in a boutique style, rooms feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, mini bar, safe and warm blankets. Bathrooms offer a hair dryer and bio cosmetics. Upper class rooms boast a coffee machine for guests and Luxury Suite has bathrobes and slippers.
Freshly ground coffee and a wide breakfast buffet with local delicacies are served every morning in Hotel Gutenbergs. Hotel’s restaurant features a summer terrace above the rooftops of the Old Town and offers meals from seasonal and local products.
Reception is open around the clock and personnel will arrange tea, coffee, flowers, tickets to events, tour guides and taxis for each guest. A conference hall with terrace can be booked in advance for different events at an extra charge.
Restaurants and pubs, Central Market and Stores, as well as museums and National Opera are within a few minutes’ walking distance from Hotel Gutenbergs. Secured parking place is located 350 yards away, but Riga International Airport is 6.2 miles away.
